Welcome Back Fellow Splintermites

Today I wanted to post about my favourite 3 monsters in the "Chaos Legion"

Before doing that I wanted to take a quick peak at the status of the "General SALE"

image.png

More than 7 million packs have been sold out of a total 15 million and the next AirDrop card will be unlocked after 854K are sold. With half the airdrops gone and 7 to go the best is yet to come...don’t forget 6 out of the 7 are the winners legendary summoner cards! If there anything like "Untamed" were in for a treat! Nate on the townhall talked recently about how 4 out of the 6 were confirmed already! That’s 6 NEW Legendary Summoners from each of the decks! Exciting Times Ahead!

Let now quickly take a look at the currency in game and we can see from the below that both DEC and SPS in the L24 hrs is down DEC -3.7% coming in at $3 per 1K DEC / SPS -4.2% coming in at $0.11 per SPS.

Now The Monsters...

Starting With...

)

The first monster that I want to talk about is none other than the "BIG BAM" "Grund". It goes without saying that "Grund" is a power house of a "Tank" I guess most of you are aware of this card already because its the largest mana cost melee chaos monster in Earth splinter. Its a steep mana cost but it comes with some real nice abilities which we will delve into below:

level 1 "Grund" possesses x3 melee attack with x3 speed with x10 HP along with the "Double Strike" ability...Because of this monster will attack for x6 mele granted he doesn’t miss..This is why its such a costly card but deadly, it could wipe out 2 monsters easily in the first move or at least disables the opponent tank.

level 4, "Grund" gets x4 melle (+1) attack with x3 speed with x11 HP (+1) along with the "Double Strike" ability he also now gets "Trample" which means if he kills the enemy he will continue and have another turn on the next monster... just think of all that damage! Youve got to expect upwards of x12 damage being dished out!

level 6, "Grund" is now maxed out and so he gets x4 melee attack with x3 speed with x13 HP (+2) along with the "Double Strike" ability, "Trample" and now "Cripple" meaning each time "Grund" hits an opponent he is causing that opponent to lose one max health, along with all his other abilities in play!

Conclusion
In Short this card is OP to use in big battles without hesitation, if the Mana cost is there you cant look any further!

Market Stat:
"Grund" is currently being sold on the market, for Level 1 from $3.75 per BCX and will cost you about $99 to purchase a maxed out copy, that in DEC is 1.2m and 32.8m respectively.

Next Up...

The next monster that I want to talk about is none other than the my NEW Favourite AirDrop card "GROOT" himself "Spirit Hoarder". Anyone who’s been following my blog for awhile will know how much I love this card and why I call it "Groot" though if you don’t know already.... So It goes without saying that "Spirit Hoarder" is a great support card, I guess most of you would be aware what the ability "Triage" is but for those who are unaware, "Triage" in short heals the backline monster so opposite of what "Heal" does for the tanks. Its a cheap mana cost but it packs a punch, with support and magic attack! not only that being a neutral splinter its versatile. Lets delve into its stats below:

level 1 "Spirit Hoarder" possesses x1 magic attack with x1 speed and x3 HP so nothing amazing but along with that it gets "Triage" So it can not only heal the backline but also if he’s now in last position it will heal itself. Tie this in with "Obsidian" the earth splinter, you will get +1 Magic damage and pair it with "Mycelic Slipspawn" in the backline with "Taunt" and you will take no damage and just keep healing "Mycelic Slipspawn" and dealing out 2x Magic Damage!

level 2, "Spirit Hoarder" gets no change to his stats he still keeps "Triage" but he also now gets "Dispel" which means if he hits a monster it will clear out any positive buffs the opposition monster has so for example armour buff or speed! Nothing amazing but all in all gives you an advantage.

level 3, "Spirit Hoarder" again gets no change to its stats he still keeps "Triage" he still has "Dispel" but now he gets "Blind" on top, this is a game altering ability, it caused the opposition to now have a greater chance to miss your team entirely which means obviously your not taking damage!

level 4, "Spirit Hoarder" is maxed out, no new abilities but it does gain +1 magic bringing it up to 2x Magic damage.

Conclusion
I’m bullish on this card, I loved the artwork from the moment I saw it, I predicted it would be a mage and I’m now just waiting for the price to drop and then I will be buying a max copy which is 11 copies. The mana cost, the abilities and that its neutral makes me very happy with this airdrop and makes it my favourite airdrop to date.

Market Stat:
"Spirit Hoarder" is currently being sold on the market, for Level 1 from $14.36 per BCX and will cost you about $165 to purchase a maxed out copy, that in DEC is 4.7m and 54.4m respectively.

Finally...

This final monster that I want to talk about a water splinter and is none other than the my "River Hellondale". This is one of my most user splinters, Just like "Spirit Hoarder" its a great support card, but also it packs a punch in its magic damage which I am currently pairing with "Alric" for that +1 Magic boost. Lets delve into its stats below:

level 1 "River Hellondale" possesses x2 magic attack with x2 speed, x1 Armour and x4 HP so at the get go its a beast, now pair that with its support function "Resurrect" meaning once one of your team dies it will bring it back to life with x1 HP this in itself is amazing giving that splinter a second lease of life. Now this ability can only trigger once in any given battle but its nice to have and its saved me a number of times! Also like I said above I’m currently pairing it with "Alric" so its getting a further +1 Magic attack bringing the Level 1 card up to x3 Magic.

level 2, "River Hellondale" gets no change to his stats he still keeps "Resurrect" but he also now gets "Inspire" which means all your melee monsters gain +1 attack, again nice to have and came turn the tide on any given day!

level 3, "River Hellondale" again gets no change to its stats he still keeps "Resurrect" he still has "Inspire" but now he gets "Dispel" which means if he hits a monster it will clear out any positive buffs the opposition monster has so for example armour buff or speed! Nothing amazing but all in all gives you an advantage.

level 4, "River Hellondale" is maxed out, no new abilities but it does gain +1 magic bringing it up to 3x Magic damage.

Conclusion
Its hard not to love this card, especially if like me your a big fan of both Water splinter and Magic. It packs a punch and comes with a number of helpful supporting abilities for the team.

Market Stat:
"River Hellondale" is currently being sold on the market, for Level 1 from $9.90 per BCX and will cost you about $132 to purchase a maxed out copy, that in DEC is 3.2m and 43.5m respectively.
