Splinterlands Future Collaborations and Concept Cards
Hello and Welcome back to another one of my blog posts, today I want to discuss potential, possible, wishful future collaborations we might see down the road with "Splinterlands"
Please note this is all speculation on my part!
So the team has recently hinted at possible future collaborations following the recent partnership with "Splinterlands" & "Waka Flocka Flame" time will tell what impact this partnership will have on the overall game and Im sure there will be a lot of diving into the data to see any correlation between the pre & post introduction or in layman’s terms "Did the player base take a significant increase or was it on the current trend".
I personally believe regardless of the data the team will want to keep up these collaborations to keep hype around the game and intern pump in game assets like SPS, DEC or NFT's prices.
That being said today I wanted to put out a post where I could talk about 1 possible collaboration id like to see and also a current collaboration in play and also include some possible card artwork.
1) Imagine Dragons
Its no secret that the team have been in talks with the band for some time and we have seen from recent town halls the teams talk about this, with Nate talking about seeing a trailer for "Splinterlands" at one of the concerts. So that being said surely its only a matter of time until we see an in-game card so let me introduce you to what I believe could be a great in-game card:
I give you "Radioactive Dragon" Radioactive coming from one of there top hits and well dragon needs no explanation, The card above it depicting 8 MANA - Range Attack Dragon card with 2 x Range attack, with 3 x Speed, 9 x HP with Flight in Level 1 , Level 3 it gains "Life Leach" and Finally max copy would get "Poison" This card would be a nice homage to the band and also like previously mentioned touch on one of their greatest hits. The card would be a legendary of course and be limited to a set number of copies like "Waka Spititblade" and be purchasable in the same manner.
2) Henry Cavil
You maybe thinking Henry Cavil, but its well known the actor is a big time gaming buff and collector, he likes games like "Dungeon & Dragons", "World of Warcraft" and "The Witcher" to name a few of the titles the actor has previously spoken about. Would it really be a stretch to see the actor interested in the card based game?? I don’t think so, I think it would be right up his street! Card collecting, battling with fantasy creatures, the lore and land aspect! But he would need a card similar to the one above, which played homage to one of his greatest roles, how about the below:
I give you "Legionnaire Lord" obviously there would need to be legal discussion to depict "Superman" or at least the art team would need to design it in a way where you knew who it was depicting without actually claiming it to be a "Superman" rip off all that being said, how amazing would it be to have such card in the game, it would be an awesome tank for the "Life" deck. 8 MANA - Melee Attack Legionnaire card with 6 x attack, with 5 x Speed, 12 x HP and 8 x Armour with Flight in Level 1 , Level 3 it gains "Void Armour" and Finally max copy would get "Immunity" This card would be a nice homage to the brand and to "Henry Cavil" and his time playing the superhero. The card would be a legendary of course and be limited to a set number of copies like "Waka Spititblade" and be purchasable in the same manner.
Conclusion
Obviously I am not an artist but I did my best and I was using Excel to put these together so give me some credit..That being said something like this for these 2 collaborations would be an amazing addition to the game and intern bring in further increase to the ever growing fan/player base for the game, Imagine dragons millions of fans, Henry Cavil with his many top hit films and TV appearances.
