Legendary Splinters Are Coming...

Rumour Has It...

So in the last town hall it was brought up about the 6 winners of the "Pre-Sale" offer to design their own summoners and that Nate had finalised all but 1 of the NEW Legendary Summoners and it made me think what would I like from these 6, what abilities would be nice to have! You have to remember the current strongest summoners were the Airdrop ones from "Untamed" the likes of "Yodin" & "Kitty" so we should expect these to really sort after and with that highly priced!

General Sale...

Before delving deeper I wanted to take a quick peak at the status of the "General SALE"

More than 7 million packs have been sold out of a total 15 million and the next Airdrop card will be unlocked after 752K are sold, the pace of the sale has slowed but I believe this will ramp up closer to end with people not wanting to miss out on the next airdrops.

DEC = $3.36 - Per 1,000 +1.4% L24hrs
SPS = $0.13 - Per 1 +3.7% L24hrs
HIVE = $1.24 - Per 1

NEW Summoners

So what would be a nice combinations of abilities on the new summoners...its hard to not just copy and paste the current META there is also only so many combinations that you can mix and match with!
The way I will look into this is what abilities I like and what would be good in a mix:

Combo 1...

+1 Magic & +1 Blast & Heal - Can you imagine the damage you would do with this combination, you’d sneak under the armour and do damage, you would also then do additional damage to monsters either side... I think this would be META changing. In any of the Splinters but just imagine this in "Water" with "Djinn Oshannus" On top of that you'd then get healed every round! I think if there was a combination that couldn’t be allowed it would be "Combo 1" but it would be fun!

Combo 2...

"Bloodlust" - Just the one ability but every time your team gets a kill that monster get +1 Attack, +1 Speed and +1 HP Just think how dangerous this ability would be on every monster in your deck, you could be hitting for some serious numbers...You can only use 1 "Gladdius" Card in the brawls for a reason. Another view would be to allow just 1 "Gladdius" card into your number battle this too would be very effective.

Combo 3...

+2 Armour & +2 HP & +2 Speed - The ultimate survival summoner, to give each of your monsters the ability to basically out last your opponent from mitigating damage with "Armour" and "HP" buffs to potentially making them miss altogether with "Speed"

Combo 4...

"Amplify" to increase any damage output, "Giant Killer" to take down any +10 Mana cards with extra damage and "Last Stand" in case your the last one left and you need that extra buff in protection and offensive.

Well that’s just a couple of combinations I thought of, I think its more of a wish list than reality but its nice to dream...If I could pick one I think "Combo 1" "Magic" & "Blast" now is one of my favourite combos so to have that every time...plus it would be difficult to mitigate all the damage even if a monster had "Void" the blast would still effect surrounding cards...

LMAO this is why players don't design cards. The first 3 are wildly OP. The last one is the only one I'd think is even partially balanced.

Keep in mind the summoners are likely to be 6 mana (the only gap in mana cost for summoners so far), so should be less powerful than the 7 mana ones
