CALLING VYB-POB ARTISTS

Now @pobscholarship is a rich philanthropist (realative term).
The community would like to see some new artists on POB NFT https://www.proofofbrain.io/nfts/. The cost of minting a first edition is 6 POB and each additional edition costs 1 POB. That is just pennies to mint, but the cost of whitelisting is 1000 POB. Our community knows that may seem steep to some artists so we created the POB SCHOLARSHIP fund to cover the 1000 POB whitlisting fee.

Our First Scholarship was awarded to @jaxsonmurph

He is now busy creating pobpunks and crypto babies. I'm expecting a comic book from him sometime soon.

ONE NEW SCHOLARSHIP IS READY NOW

Due to overwhelming support of the community one scholarship of 1000 POB is ready now. I'm very thankful for the donations that have supported this scholarship and that is why I want to be very careful in giving an opportunity for all artists who are interested to apply.

  • The scholarship is intended for exceptional artists who are active in the POB or VYB communities. They are artists who have been creating art that has benefited the community. The art can be in the form of music, audio, video or other visual art that can be minted in an NFT form. Preference will be given to artists who can create in demand collectible art like pob punks, card games, books, puzzles, series, etc...

Application deadline for the current scholarship is January 31st, 2022.

I will check all the applications on February 2nd to find the best candidate. Don't worry if you are not chosen. As funding continues more scholarships are avaible and your application will be taken into consideration as the next scholarship funds are raised.

  • At the time of writing this post I have received one application from @holovision, a 3-D artist. He has a history of art produced with palnet and his art does promote community as you can see in his application post.

How to apply

Simply write a scholarship application post including recent works as well as plans for future works. Include the tag #pobscholarship in the post. Link the post to the comments in a recent @pobscholarship post so I can see it.

If there are funds and you are an exceptional artist contributing to the community then you have a high chance of getting a scholarship. If there is any doubt about who should get the scholarship then I will put it to a community vote.

Yes,

I wonder how much !LUV I have left after the Yellow Bird Game. That game can get addictive waiting for the next number. I wrote the results and will send our prizes tomorrow. I want to spend a minute to write something on my blog.

POB NFTs can be an audio file, MP4 or gif. In this case there are a lot of options for tokenizing your brain. Anything from audio books, podcasts or even writings. It doesn't have to be a picture. Another way to prove your brain is to make a post in proof of brain or verify your brain and collect their brain tokens. The best thing is something useful for many people. Maybe there is a community of people who want to learn a foreign language. You can record your lessons and even post them as an NFT.

No problem. You can show your brain and benefit the community in so many ways. Your wisdom and experience can be helpful and you can find creative ways to demonstrate it.

Hello, @mineopoly had referred me to this post however I just signed up this week and do not have much posted yet. I will see what I can do in terms of getting a Scholarship post up but am interested in NFT creation in any event. Nice to know this is a possibility here.

A short posts with your links to your works and a plan for the future will do fine. Also think about how your work may benefit the community. Write about what you want to see happen with your nfts. This is definitely something to promote creativity and support and encourage creatives on HIVE. Won't be able to support a lot but will definitely send whatever I can, I think and hope, every single POB counts.
