PUBLIC HOLIDAY ON HIVE

I know you are probably thinking the caption is aimed at being some sort of Clickbait, but it's a suggestion.

Can we possibly get a day off writing? If there is a day when people should stay away from any kind of work, whether it be writing or otherwise, should it not be on Christmas Day?

While I can say that today is supposed to be filled with laughter and festivity and as such work should not be a part of what inhibits the enjoyment that Christmas Day often brings, I must say I am quite tired and exhausted of this year's busy schedule that today's writing feels like work.

Maybe I'm being too blunt and some might say, “you’re not being forced to write”, which is true, but consistency is one of the characteristics of an overachiever...

My bones feel broken though. Like I was hit by a car or at least bludgeoned by an overly aggressive kidnapper. Work did this. Running around from pillar to post to provide for those who are counting on me. This rat race has got me working even today. I have been working nonstop and even though against my better judgment I hoped it would let up at least today of all days.

I feel like I'm repeating myself or taking out my frustrations here. Well for those enjoying the day, please do it on our behalf. And Hive please give us the day off or plan to give us the holiday.
