What the Wise Are Ashamed Of... .:. Hump Day Easy Talk

...the fool is proud of... I'm not sure if this saying exists in the English language, but it is a very good example for certain acts that we can see all around us... We are living in a weird world where some real values are ridiculized and it looks like we are living in some "reversed world", or better said that we have two different worlds existing at the same time... One is the truth and the real one, and the other one is what is served to us as a real-life theater...

You have a beautiful and powerful blockchain/crypto technology and a world full of potentials that can empower people through using it... No middle-man, no huge fees, no slavery, no devaluating of money... The naked and powerful truth that can serve anyone and help the whole society...

On the other side, we have all the opposite... Big data companies, huge banks, keeping wealth in their hands, and by saying wealth, I don't think only on money, but also on our privacy, our freedoms... Keeping people enslaved in debts, giving just breadcrumbs and worthless paper that they can print whenever they need it... Promoting wrong ideals and ideas, poisoning our minds from early days... Teaching us to act as headless animals, doing things that they trigger...

The worst thing is when you notice that kind of stuff reading/watching posts here on the blockchain... Seeing people acting just like that, or better said, in the same way as in the Matrix... predictable... Jumping from one thing to another, keeping the focus for just 2-3 days, or 2-3 hours... To make this post closer, I'm thinking about these FOMO and FUD stuff... You have a new shiny thing lets all jump there and buy shit-tons of that and we will be rich in 3 days... When that goes down the drain, let's jump on another one and do the same... and the same... chasing the money... gambling...

Don't forget about one thing... in most of the cases... When you hear about a certain project, you are already late... If it's on the top, just skip that, and research for another one... Find it before others...

I had an interesting conversation with my son a few days before... He started with an interest in "investing" in stuff, which was a pleasant surprise coming from a teenager... And he said that he will invest in something safe, something promising... Invest in the TV Series "Squid Game"... Yes, it's a childish thing, but coming from a child is OK... But... It's a perfect example for the previous paragraph...

I just told him: "You should invest in the director of the Squid Game a couple of years ago when he was rejected multiple times for creating the TV series..."

Yea I think prices will die back down after a while. I plan on just selling my vouchers and then buy some packs when you don't need vouchers.

It has to go down... We can't forget that in the presale the max amount of packs for sale is 1 million.... and after that, an additional 14M will be available for purchasing... that's a loooot of packs...

Very good bro i think a lot of people get swept away with the fear of missing out and because some people penny gain so when they lose it's big cause there was never any room plus they have to go big with such small margins.

because some people penny gain

Oh, that is a completely different chapter! Seeing penny gains on one side, and losing huge amounts of money on the other side...

FOMO is bad... Whoever says the opposite is heavily wrong...

I know exactly what you mean - my time management definitely is in the middle of tweaking right now. It is partly due to seasonal changes, but also with life demands. I have learned along the way that I have to be gentle with myself if I don't get everything done. I used to take on too much (& struggling with the aftermath of that right now). When I just reprioritize what needs to be done THAT day, I seem to do better. Plus, my health is better!

Real life gets in the way sometimes lol....

As far as the FUD & FOMO mentalities, I noticed I rarely get into that energy anymore. After so much of it last year (& even the beginning of this one), I saw the effects it had on my mental AND physical wellness. To me, now, nothing is worse jeopardizing my peace of mind. Now, I can't say I NEVER feel that, but when I do, I step back & ask myself WHY I am feeling that way. Being in the right timing is important but buying into something you don't fully understand or "just in case" is just not healthy (just my 2 cents). And yes, if you feel so inspired, find something no one else knows about about...that's good advice. Funny how my perspective has changed over the past 2 years lol....

Hang in there! I hope things get a little bit more managable for you (esp. with the apartments & time factor). Remember, just to give yourself grace. We are not machines, we are here to enjoy the human experience...

Love your videos as always! Sending good vibes & pixie dust ✨💖🧡🧚🏼‍♀️

We are tweaking our lives, our time, our money (management), and it looks that it's a big part of our life... Priorities are changing and evolving, probably because of our experiences... I have noticed that my priorities changed a lot, especially when I was talking with my son about some "goals in life"...

Sometimes it was all around a good house, a good car, the best computer, a nice mobile phone... and today, it is all about trying to live my life with as little (or none) possible stress and in peace of mind :)

Thanks for your kind words, Jenn! Great to have you as a friend!

You see... that really depends on everyone's situation regarding the price of vouchers and whether these prices make them worth it or not. For myself, as for you, it doesn't make sense to buy vouchers at these prices.

But let's say one is close to 500 packs (i.e. vouchers), or even better 1000 packs (or multiples of that). Then it depends what your target is, and the added perks may be worth it buying some vouchers or even many of them. And if one needs many of them, one needs to buy constantly, at almost any price. Because the benefits they expect will be much higher (Legionnaire title and guaranteed GF drop every 1k packs bought in all 14 airdrops + guaranteed 19 non-GF cards on every airdrop, 20% discount at 2k).

You are maybe right about buying a couple of thousands of packs with potential profits... But still, that's a huge gamble as nobody knows how valuable will be that promo card...

As you said, not everyone will participate, and reading some comments from players, it looks that games are moving in the direction of being "exclusively" for the "wealthier" population... Again, this can be only a temporary view as these are extremely FOMO times and it will not last forever... Dust will probably settle down in a month-two...

Is that good or bad, time will tell...

I agree, the barrier of entry and initial growth is starting to be quite high.
