It always seem daft to me, you would think they would want everyone to have the best tools so they can do the best job.
That may be cause your not one to bent the knee. It takes courage to snap at the hand that feeds you. Not everyone can do it and succeed in a hieratical command structure.

Very true, one of the reasons i have my own business is because i don't really do well with bad management.
In the firewood industry cutting cost or corners could cause an accident or even a death.
Good, well maintained tools and equipment are an absolute must to me.
