While driving along the road the other day, I came across these really beautiful paintings. I was not very big on artworks but the older I get, I am growing to appreciate and like them.

El otro día, mientras conducía por la carretera, me encontré con estos cuadros tan bonitos. No me gustaban mucho las obras de arte, pero cuanto más mayor me hago, más las aprecio y me gustan.

Today, I was thinking of getting myself a painting. Paintings of abstract objects, myself, and just regular design paintings in general.

Hoy estaba pensando en comprarme un cuadro. Pinturas de objetos abstractos, de mí mismo, y simplemente pinturas de diseño en general.

We contacted an artist to inquire about his price and he was quite on the expensive side. To be fair, I was not really keen on getting one right away, so I did not stress the bargaining process.

Nos pusimos en contacto con un artista para preguntar por su precio y era bastante caro. Para ser justos, no me apetecía mucho hacerme con uno de inmediato, así que no me estresé en el proceso de regateo.

Then I remembered a friend who once edited my photograph and made it look like a painting. I was so thrilled and impressed by it, so I went ahead to recreate similar looks from a few of my already existing photographs the same way.

Entonces me acordé de un amigo que una vez editó mi fotografía y la hizo parecer un cuadro. Me encantó y me impresionó, así que me puse a recrear de la misma manera aspectos similares de algunas de mis fotografías ya existentes.

It was a fun way to pass time, play with technology, and just goof around. Here are the products of my recreations. Just thought to share.

Fue una forma divertida de pasar el tiempo, jugar con la tecnología y hacer el tonto. Aquí están los productos de mis recreaciones. Sólo pensé en compartirlo.
