Hello everyone, here is my third post about our favorite game economy. Everybody knows that in early December Chaols Legion pack will be available and most of you have already checked December the 8th on their calendar.

Yesterday the team published this post about General sale and Discount Details.

I'd like to share some maths with you to answer this :
How much should a new player invest into the game to get enough power to reach each league?

In a previous post I explained average power value of differents pack :

Remember that if you want to use potions, it will use 5 potions of each per pack. So an extra cost of $0.45 per pack

Using these we can provide the cost for an average of 10k power with each pack :
Using no Potion :

Using both Potions :

We can see that Chaos legion will shrink the initial investment and that using potions is a no brainer decision! But remember it is only an average so remember the worst case scenario is 40 power for a CL pack theses number will be more accurate with a huge number of packs!

So we can give some numbers of packs you should plan to purchase for every league :

Currently, the cheapest market price is $3 for 100 Power so $300 for 10k power. Maybe a good option if you just want power because you don't depend on lady luck. But at that price you won't have any summoner or meta killer card!
