Two new artworks and some words about it

Here are my last artworks. I think I will stop my production for some weeks now because of the solo exhibition opening on june 11 - artists make exhibitions also for having a recap of their own work and putting a temporary full stop.
My new artworks - the ones I'm showing in this post - develop subjects I dealed with about 20 years ago. In particular, the one I call "Getting out of the woods" is similar to a series I made which was inspired (also) by a book, "Der Waldgang" by german philosopher Ernst Jünger. I didn't agree with Jünger's thesis in that book. He says that, in an oppressive regime, a righteous man should leave the society and "pass to the woods" to fight the regime from outside. It could seem sensible. The problem is: what is an oppressive regime? For Jünger - who wrote his book in the 40s of the 20th century, after the war - it seems to be just a government that restricts individual freedom. Of course I didn't agree with that: living in a community means exactly restricting the freedom of individuals.
Ok, I don't want to make it longer. I'm just an artist.
Here are my artworks. I think you can figure out which one is "Getting out of the woods" ;)

It does feel like we are lost in the woods lately. We need to find our way back to the path.
