Another day dawns
And the nostalgia does not go away
I'm overcome with memories
Of dawns past
And nameless sunsets
With priceless treasures
Of special moments
That now
Live only in my mind.

Memories that were
Memories that show
That which once was valuable
But by my own insolence
With time I lost
Like water through my fingers.

Today I'm overwhelmed by nostalgia
Of what was and what I did not value
In due time.
Today I am burdened with nostalgia
Of what I had
And I wish more than ever to recover.

And that is what life is
A collection of moments
Filled with lasting moments
And many others that are fleeting.

But the important thing to remember
Is to remember that there is always
one more day arrives
For better or worse
Maybe the same or better
For you and others.
