Kaylia Silverleaf is currently my favorite Archon
You heard it here first, well second I wrote a x post/tweet about it earlier, Kaylia Silverleaf is my current Archon of choice. I feel as though I am comfortable and understand the Earth splinter meta more than the others. We're still early into the Conclave Arcana set so this could change by tomorrow but time will tell.
Kaylia Silverleaf
Miss Silverleaf offers a magic debuff of -1 to the opponent and bloodline Dominion which gives her the ability give elves the Execute ability. Execute gives all the elves the ability to strike the enemy again if they have 2 or less health left. This is a very powerful ability.
Kaylia's Lore
The Silverleaf family may not be of noble blood, but its name still carries weight in the Kingdom of Thanaloria. Those who serve it, whether by blood or by oath, do so with unwavering loyalty to its patriarch, Rathlorien Silverleaf, a figure as feared as he is revered.
Kaylia is his granddaughter, and from childhood, her path was set. She trained alongside blades and archers, studied with arcanists and sorcerers. But it was her nursemother, Selbrineth Calaraen, who shaped her most. Beneath the boughs of the trees and among the woodland creatures, Selbrineth taught her that power was not meant to be hoarded or unleashed, but wielded with care.
The Riftwatchers brought word of Mahkah Hemlig’s march across the Broken Lands and her assault on the land in search of the secret of Praetoria. But the noble houses were fractured, still reeling from the rebellion. Their ambitions were knotted by grief… and by courtly maneuvering.
Rathlorien knew no orders would come from Thanaloria’s throne.
He assembled a fellowship of his finest magic users, rangers, and assassins to stand against the geomancer. Kaylia didn’t wait to be chosen. She was the first to step forward. To her, the devastation Mahkah wrought was more than a strategic threat. It was a violation of everything she believed in. Mahkah had either forgotten the balance between power and restraint or, worse still, never believed it at all.
If stopping her means Kaylia must become the executioner’s blade, then so be it.
Battle Example
Here is a battle where you can see the Execute ability used very succinctly. With in the first few moves of my monsters I had already executed two of the other players monsters.
One of the monsters, the Fenmoor Platypus my opponent had set up to be a powerful striker but he was executed with in the first round of the battle. Which means my opponent's Archon ability, +melee, wasn't even a threat to my team anymore.
Then the executions continued in the second round after a few moves and Thanalorian Blade took out my opponents front line tank Grimbardun Fighter.
After that the match was pretty much won with my team only losing my two front line tanks which brought forward my 16 HP Endless Ape.
Then it was all said and done a few more strikes from my army of Elves and they were finished. If you would like to watch the battle Click Here
