Stone Aeon is coming

Hi guys and welcome to another lovely week, it's officially the first week of April and the crypto market is looking rather favorable as BTC continues to over around the 46-47k and a possible break out seems rather close by but as usual, nothing is certain and we simply have to hope for the best.

Today's writeup will be focused on an upcoming game which might be a trending topic in nearest future.

It's been a while I made any game related article and this was caused by my offline related activities which gave me little to no time to make a proper draft about the happenings relating to the gaming industry. That said, I have been involved with various blockchain based games here and there but never had a dedicated time to actually put my thoughts in order about how I feel and reviews on them but something caught my attention of recent and I am hoping it actually turns out to be fun filled, action packed, and investment wise.

What is Stone Aeon?

StoneAeon, the first GameFi game with multiple world views, is under test on PlatON Network , and will be released in the near future.

Taking the Stone Age as the background, StoneAeon gathers all primitive peoples around the world. Blockchain technology is used to uniquify and digitize content, generating unique digital assets.

All in-game items and creatures are blockchain-based NFT assets, allowing players to maximize profits while having fun.

Stone Aeon plans on using the privacy backed service from PlatON_Network which will serve as a safeguard for the privacy and circulation of players’ digital assets with its mature privacy-preserving computation technology.

PlatON, initiated and driven by the LatticeX Foundation, is a next-generation Internet infrastructure protocol based on the fundamental properties of blockchain and supported by the privacy-preserving computation network.

We have seen several arguments on how bitcoin created a decentralized means that allowed instant distribution of assets via a p2p system without needing a 3rd party verification and over time several other features were developed using the blockchain technology and one of many which stood out was nft.

Nonfungible token which allowed direct ownership of digital art and this is all backed on the blockchain, a world wide open ledger that allows one to verify if what they have is real from a said individual or not.

Over time, the concept of NFT became broaden and the use-case as gone further from what was initially a fine art into backing of assets like land (virtual and offline), music, and many others. As each day passes, the use case simply widens.

The unique concept about NFT is that no two similar NFT actually exist and each is distinct from others via block number and other features. One can easily verify the authenticity of an NFT via various blockchain explorers without being a techie.

Stone Aeon as the name describes plan on creating a somewhat of a stone era concept and each activities carried out will be recorded as a form of NFT that gives users clear ownership from weapons crafted to even characters own and while no proper writeup as been made, one can only believe that there might be more than what currently meet the eyes.

Their official post was made few days back and it seems they plan on hosting an NFT sale in the near future which actually brings back certain memories back to me.

Regards to my memories or rather experience when it comes to blockchain collectibles, one is you can never predict how the NFT market will welcome a collectible in weeks, months, or even years after their creation.

I have own several blockchain collectibles which did 30x from their initial sale price months after their creation and some even days. This make it somewhat impossible to actually peg a constant value to them.

The above might be a possible outcome for Stone Aeon but as I mentioned, no one can actual peg a value in days or weeks to come but what we can do is make research using provided data and see if it has future prospect or not.

That said, I plan on keeping a close lookout and will drop updates as the game unfolds.
