Steps to add PlatON network on Metamask for the upcoming StoneAeon sales

Hi guys and welcome to another lovely Sunday morning, the weather is looking great as usual but too bad the same can't be said about the crypto market.

Over the past couple of weeks we have made series of article which talked about an upcoming game and most of the possibilities that would come with it and also possible ways to join the nft whitelist sale which was held on Twitter and also via discord and I must say a big congratulation for as many that were able to secure a whitelist spot.

For those who were a little bit late or not just lucky well the opportunity to buy on public sale is fast approaching and you can easily secure one while the event is up.

For those who have been following Stone Aeon via Twitter then you are probably aware of the sale date and others who are not informed then it is my pleasure to inform you that Stone Aeon nft sale will be held 25th of April 2022 which will be up in a couple of hours time at the time of writing this article.

The sale will be active for 48hrs giving all intending users a considerable amount of time to buy one if they are whitelisted and individuals who were not opportune to get a whitelist spot can join the sale April 27th 2022 at a price of 2022 LAT and this will be held for 24hrs in a likely first come first serve event so I urge everyone who is interested not to miss this.

In other to take part you will need a web3 based wallet that supports PlatON network and metamask is the most common when it comes to the series of options currently available.

While PlatON hasn't been automatically added to the series of supported chains on Metamask one can easily import it automatically or manually which ever they decides to use.

First you will need to download the MetaMask extension to your chrome browser which can be achieved by visiting the MetaMask homepage here https://metamask.io/

Upon installation follow the popup command prompt to set a password which would be used to activate transactions, use a password you are familiar with

For users who have a LAT account prior to now maybe one on ATON wallet you can easily export your account to Metamask

Simply copy the mnemonic key phrase and import the account to metamask via the mnemonic or simply used the private key which ever you prefer.

Next is to visit https://scan.platon.network/add-to-extension and connect your wallet

Follow the command popup information and sign the transaction to add PlatON chain to metamask and this will be done automatically, if you held LAT in such address, it will all be exported over.

For users who rather add this manually then use the below information to add PlatON chain ID to metamask

If successful, you should have your PlatON address and balance reflecting.
