First of all cordial greetings to the communities of Hashkings, Virtual World, NFT Game Latino, Blockchain Gaming, One Up and Threshold Guardian Gaming, in this post I want to give answer to one of the questions that a companion asked me in chat on the Discord of @mundovirtual, where she asked me how to make the calculation of costs and profits, of the rent and land seeding in Hashkings.

As well as this companion who is new to the game and chat, other people have asked the same question so I decided to make this post, where I explain in a simple way the step by step of how to rent and how to get the costs of the rent and the profit to obtain with it.

1-. We go to the Hashkings page, enter the farming tab and from there we go to the Rents tab.

2- Once there, we choose the land that we are going to rent, in our case for this example a land of South America that has for today a value of 0.05 Hive the rent for one month.

Now to see if it is profitable or not, we are going to make the conversion of those 0.05 Hive to Buds, to do that, we divide 0.05 Hive by the value of the Buds and it will give us the value in Buds of the rent.

To know the value of the Buds we go to Tribaldex or Hive Engine to the Buds token tab and see its value, which at the time of this post is 0.00025460, so we do a simple division:

0.05 / 0.00025460= 196. 39 Buds but to make it more comfortable we round it to 200 Buds.

3.- We go to NFTmark and see the value of the South American seed and how much each seed gives us in Buds.

At this point, I recommend to buy the seeds in Buds since it is always more economic.

The cost of the South American seed is 38 Buds and each seed gives me 248 Buds. Now the South American soil takes a week to germinate and the soil is rented for 30 days, so I will need 4 seeds, so I must multiply :

38 * 4= 152 Buds

4.- To know how much water we need, we go to Hahskings Farmin, click on the HK-Watter icon and a list is displayed with the amount of water that the South American seed needs to be planted, in this case the amount is 504 tokens of HK-Watter per seed, so we multiply 504 * 4 = which gives us 2016 of water which is what we need to buy.

5.- Now we must calculate the cost of water, for that we go to our favorite echange or token exchange and look for the HK-Watter token, which at the time of this post is 0.00007358,
so we multiply 0.00007358 * 2016 = 0.14 Hive.

Now we take those 0.14 Hive to Buds by dividing 0.14 / 0.00025460 = 583 Buds.

6.- Now we calculate the total cost of the purchase of the land, water and seed in Buds, we do this by adding the value in Buds of the water, land and seed.

                                   Water= 583 Buds
                                 Seeds= 152 Buds
                                  Soil= 200 Buds
                             ___________________

Total costs to harvest: 935 Buds which is equal to 0.22Hive.

7.- Now to know the profitability we add the number of Buds that the seeds give us which is 248, so we multiply 248 Buds by 4 and we will have the result.

248 * 4= 992 Buds - 935 Buds of the investment, gives a profit of: 57 Buds.

Which is equal to 6.1% profit, on the investment. The most expensive part of the lease at the moment is the water.

Now if one has the seeds and you have accumulated water, if it is very profitable to rent with the current prices.

When I started, I had no money to invest and water was much cheaper, so I got my first land with what I earned in a month's rent.

However, nowadays water prices have gone up and continue to go up, so I recommend that as much as possible you work to be autonomous and self-sufficient in the game, that means to go buying the lands, buy the motes to make the staking and produce the seeds and buy the water towers and go up the same level.

For people who have water towers and the possibility of raising them, but do not have a high avatar to be able to increase their level, I inform you that in the community of @mundovirtual, active members of the community are helped to raise to level seven (7) water towers.
