This week the character I chose for my entry or participation in the Splinterlands art contest, was Moxian Rebel, whose appearance caught my attention, since he looked like a mysterious and rebellious guy, so he was the one chosen to draw him this week.

I started making some ideas of the traditional sketch, since I hadn't drawn a character of this style in a long time. I made several sketches, until I finally came up with one that I liked and that's the one I took to develop the whole character itself. I used some references to adapt them to my drawing and once I finished the sketch, I transfer it to digital and detail it well to leave it ready to start painting.

Comencé haciendo algunas ideas del boceto en tradicional, ya que no había dibujado en bastante tiempo un personaje de este estilo. Hice varios bocetos, hasta que al final quedo uno que me gusto y fue en el tome para desarrollar todo el personaje en sí. Me ayude de algunas referencias para adaptarlas a mi dibujo y una vez termino el boceto, lo paso al digital y lo detallo bien para así dejarlo listo y comenzar a pintar.

Someday I would like to work on a drawing with only base colors and some shading, but it is very difficult for me to see a drawing without details hehehe.

I have been trying new brushes and the truth is that I liked them a lot, since I always used the same ones and many of them are the default ones in ClipStudioPaint, so it was time to look for new ones.

To give it that dark and mysterious touch, what I did was to make a background with dark colors, to give it that feeling of darkness and mystery. And I finish the drawing adding the glows and that's it, that's all.
