Djinn Apprentices prefer to study under more powerful djinn to hone their magic. While not as strong or cunning as others of their kin, they are just as dangerous to untrained warriors.

When the Chaos Legion arrived, it had a diverse effect on the djinn. Not a unified race by any means, some chose to align with the Chaos Legion, some chose to defend against it, and others chose to go their own path and leave it all behind. Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I wanted to participate in the Splinterlands art contest this week, so I chose the character “Djinn Apprentice” because I had done a drawing a few days ago that I thought would be perfect for this character. So, here's the process:

Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Quise participar esta semana en el concurso de arte de Splinterlands y para ello, escogí al personaje de "Djinn Apprentice" ya que había hecho hace unos días atrás un dibujo y se me hice perfecto para adaptarlo a este personaje, entonces bueno, les muestro el proceso a continuación:

This is the drawing I used to turn it into the new version of Djinn Apprentice. I loved that it gave me vibes of the character, so I decided to take it and reinterpret it.

Este es el dibujo que use para convertirlo en la nueva versión de Djinn Apprentice, me encanto que me haya dado vibes del personaje y bueno, mejor tomarlo y darle una reinterpretación.

I started with the sketch. What I did was take a photo of the traditional drawing and transfer it to Clip Studio Paint to structure the entire character. The only thing I took from the sketch was the character itself, not the elements, since it didn't make much sense to do so or integrate them into this version of Djinn Apprentice.

Comencé con el boceto, lo que hice fue tomarle una foto al dibujo en tradicional y lo pase al Clip Studio Paint para ir estructurando todo el personaje. Lo único que tome del boceto, fue el personaje en si y no los elementos, ya que no tenían tanto sentido hacerlo o integrarlos a esta versión de Djinn Apprentice.

Once I have the sketch ready, I start painting it. For this illustration, I worked with a monochromatic color palette leaning towards reds, since the original character is entirely red.

Luego de tener todo el boceto listo, lo que hago después es comenzar a pintar el mismo. Para esta ilustración, lo que hice fue trabajar con una paleta de color monocromática tirando a los rojas, ya que el personaje original en su totalidad en rojo.

I spent quite a while working on the illustration, adding color, details, and so on, until it was finally almost ready. The last thing I did was add the background and the final details, and that's it, folks, that's all there is to it.

Estuve trabajando un buen rato toda la ilustración, agregando color, detalles y demás hasta que por fin la tuve casi lista, lo ultimo que hice fue agregar el fondo y agregar los detalles finales y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
