Conóceme un poco.

¡Hola! Querida comunidad de Hive, mi nombre es Orianna Vivas; soy una jóven de 23 años, nacida en Venezuela pero radicada hace un poco más de tres años en una pequeña ciudad costera de Colombia.

Amo las mascotas, he tenido perros, gatos y conejos. En estos momentos tengo un hermoso gato llamado Oreo, quien es mi compañía en esta travesía.

Hello! Dear Hive community, my name is Orianna Vivas; I am a 23 year old young woman, born in Venezuela but settled a little more than three years ago in a small coastal city in Colombia.

I love pets, I have had dogs, cats and rabbits. I currently have a beautiful cat named Oreo, who is my companion on this journey.

Desde pequeña la vida me ha presentado diversas situaciones que he logrado superar con éxito y me han dejado diferentes enseñanzas y cicatrices que no puedo borrar, literalmente.

Actualmente la más difícil de ellas es encontrarme en otro país, lejos de mis familiares, amigos y seres queridos en general; a pesar de todas las dificultades que se me han presentado al estar lejos de mi país de orígen, puedo decir que he tenido disfrute, enseñanzas y crecimiento en esta temporada. Puedo asegurar que ya no soy la misma persona que era antes de todo éste proceso.

Since I was a child, life has presented me with different situations that I have managed to overcome successfully and have left me with different lessons and scars that I literally cannot erase.

Currently the most difficult of them is to find myself in another country, away from my family, friends and loved ones in general; despite all the difficulties that have been presented to me to be away from my country of origin, I can say that I have enjoyed, learned and grown a lot in this season. I can assure that I am no longer the same person I was before all this process.

¿Que me apasiona?

Me apasiona la medicina, pero hasta ahora no he tenido la oportunidad real de vivir esa pasión. Yéndome hacia la otra punta de la línea de mi vida, estuve estudiando durante cierta cantidad de tiempo artes visuales, es común verme con unas tijeras, pinturas o un trozo de papel en la mano.

What am I passionate about?

I am passionate about medicine, but so far I have not had the real opportunity to live that passion. Going to the other end of the line in my life, I was studying for a certain amount of time visual arts, it is common to see me with a pair of scissors, paints or a piece of paper in my hand.

¿Cuáles son mis aficiones?

Desde siempre he tenido cierta afición a la escritura, a darle forma a las palabras y oraciones, amo crear nuevos mundos y sentirme parte de ellos; de pequeña tuve la oportunidad de presentarme a varios concursos de escritura creativa.

Me gustaría en cada una de mis publicaciones compartirles historias nacidas de mi imaginación, pero al mismo tiempo basadas en mis pensamientos y emociones; el sentimiento de la pérdida, porque la pérdida desde el extranjero se vive diferente, la soledad, la tristeza, la desesperanza, el sentir como hay un nudo apretando tu garganta. Pero también compartirles el crecimiento, el apoyo recibido, la creación del amor propio, la influencia de las nuevas culturas, la capacidad de hacer nuevos amigos, de hacer cosas que nunca pensaste que podrías hacer.

Mi otra gran afición es la lectura, sentir que puedo vivir miles de vidas, solo con leer unas páginas, amar a un personaje y luego odiarlo y sentir muchas emociones sin salir de casa.

What are my hobbies?

I have always been fond of writing, of giving shape to words and sentences, I love to create new worlds and feel part of them; when I was a child I had the opportunity to participate in several creative writing contests.

I would like in each of my publications to share with you stories born from my imagination, but at the same time based on my thoughts and emotions; the feeling of loss, because loss from abroad is experienced differently, the loneliness, the sadness, the hopelessness, the feeling of a knot tightening in your throat. But also to share with them the growth, the support received, the creation of self-love, the influence of new cultures, the ability to make new friends, to do things you never thought you could do.

My other great hobby is reading, feeling that I can live thousands of lives, just by reading a few pages, loving a character and then hating him or her and feeling many emotions without leaving home.

¿Que espero lograr?

• Espero poder obtener paz, tranquilidad y regocijo al expresarme libremente, al compartir con ustedes lo que pienso y lo que vivo.

• Espero obtener un crecimiento personal más amplio al poder leer sus experiencias y enseñanzas, compartir sus momentos y aprender de ellos.

What do I hope to achieve?

• I hope to gain peace, tranquility and joy by expressing myself freely, by sharing with you what I think and what I live.

• I hope to obtain a broader personal growth by being able to read your experiences and teachings, share your moments and learn from them.
