Kante want 4 years

There is problem in Chelsea now, it's in between Ngolo Kante and the board of directors, the board of directors offered Kanté 2 more years contract with one more years option but Ngolo Kante insisted that he want four years contract or no deal. He said he want the same years contract that was given to Kalidou Kunibaly, a defender that Chelsea because at the age of 31 years and gave him four years contract. Kanté just clocked 31 years old as well, so as they gave Kalidou kunibaly 4 years contract, he expected the same thing from Chelsea, so he would leave Chelsea at the age of 35 years of age like Kalidou kunibaly but Chelsea is the one that caused problems for themselves.

If Chelsea had let Antonio Rudiger wait and extend his contract with two years, they might not have the problem that they are currently facing for now because they won't go for Kalidou kunibaly. Once a player is aged 30 years of age, Chelsea don't care about what they can do, they would offer them a year contract or no deal, even John Terry that's their legend left because they can't give him more than 1 year contract and he went to another club to collect more than a year contract. But Ngolo Kante's injury record history is the problem that he have, last three seasons, all the matches that he starts was like 20 in 2019, 2020 he start like 24 matches, in 2021, he start like 21 matches.

Injury caused Kante's inability to win Balloon Dio'r because in the knockout stages, he shines very well, he have the chance to win Balloon Dio'r but he can't win that, it can't be given to a player that just played in Knockout stage. Kante is a good midfielder, a workaholic type but injury would get him fade out, he is like a two man on the field if he play because he plays with his whole body but way that his starts decreases seasons by seasons is the more that it would keep decreasing because of his age. Maybe he won't have up to 20 starts this season, so the two years with a year option contract that Chelsea offer him is the best for him and if he think he don't want to retire then, he should go and play Major league at America or go to Chaina.

If Chelsea give Kante four years contract, it would just be as if they make the worst mistake of their life because Kalidou kunibaly is already a problem for them. Ever since Kunibaly's red card, he never get himself back and they've bought Wesley Fofana, so it's like he go to Chelsea for good four years pension and it's because Mariagranoskia has left the club when they make that contract, the woman can't offer such contract to a player that is above 30 years of age. Not all players would be like Thiago Silver that don't have long term injury despite his age and he is still permanent defender even after Frank Lampard that called him to Chelsea and Thomas Tuchel have left the club.
