Saludos y buenos días para todos amigos. He estado fuera de hive por unos días porque me he tomado unas cortas vacaciones, pero ya estoy de regreso. Últimamente no he tenido mucho tiempo así que no he podido traerles historias de forma habitual como hacía antes. Pero espero que a partir de hoy pueda traerles algunas cada semana. La de hoy se la he dedicado a Storm. Espero les guste. Dicho esto arrancamos queridos amigos.

Yanaray is a very interesting guitarist. Beyond the good music she makes, what draws most attention is her stage name. She calls herself Storm. This nickname has made her a name in the industry, and everyone recognizes her when they hear it. Added to that, she makes excellent music, so as you can imagine, her success is almost guaranteed. But many today wonder how she got that nickname and where it came from. To find out, we have to go back several years, when she wasn't as famous as she is now. Back then, she was a solo guitarist just starting out.

She had been in several bands, but she always knew that being a soloist was her calling, which is why she never wanted to join a group permanently. What she did do was collaborate on several projects, as is normal. At that time, she was known as Yanaray the Guitarist.

Ese apodo le ha creado un nombre en la industria y todos la reconocen cuando lo escuchan. Sumado a eso hace música excelente, así que como pueden imaginar su éxito está casi garantizado. Pero muchos hoy día se preguntan como fue que consiguió ese apodo y de donde viene. Para saberlo tenemos que remontarnos a varios años atrás cuando ella aún no era tan famosa como lo es ahora. En aquel entonces ella era una guitarrista solista que empezaba.

Había estado en varias bandas pero ella siempre supo que lo de ella era ser una solista, por eso nunca quiso unirse a un grupo de manera definitiva. Lo que sí hizo fue hacer varias colaboraciones como es normal. En ese tiempo se le conocía como Yanaray la guitarrista.

When she gained a certain amount of fame, a prominent magnate from her city, who admired her work, hired her to perform for him at an event he was planning. Además tenia la presión de hacer un buen trabajo porque la reputación de su admirador estaba en juego porque el la había elegido para dar la presentación. Si la hacia mal ella misma lo defraudaría a el y lo avergonzaría frente a sus colegas porque podían decir que eligió a una guitarrista mediocre. Así que era importante hacerlo bien. Si lograba hacer una buena presentación el magante le había prometido que la contrataría de nuevo y seria un patrocinador para sus nuevos proyectos si ella no podía hacerlo sola.

El concierto privado seria a las 7:30 de la tarde en un estadio de futbol alquilado. Ellos le avisaron con suficientemente antelación para que se prepara bien. Ella tenia todo un mes para prepararse. El magnate por su parte invirtió miles de dólares en transformar el lugar aburrido en un lugar de primera categoría para todos los asistentes. Contrató servicio de bebidas a los asientos y comida. También se instalaron mesas para que las personas pudieran comer mientras veían la presentación.

Aunque parecía que aun faltaba mucho la fecha pasó volando y cuando vino a ver solo faltaba un día. Se estaban ultimando detalles para que quedara todo listo. El magnate llamó a Yanaray para decirle que no se preocupara que solo hiciera lo que ya sabía hacer y que eso era lo que le gustaba de ella, su autenticidad. Bueno al otro día llegó el momento de dar ese concierto. A las 6 de la tarde comenzaron a llegar todos asistentes en sus autos de lujo. La presión se sentía en el aire. Pero Yanaray no se dejó intimidar muy fácil, ella era alguien acostumbrada a luchar y sabia todo lo que estaba en juego.

A las 7:20 cuando faltaban 10 minutos ocurrió un contratiempo. Empezó a llover a cantaros y había rallos y fuertes truenos. Los asistentes estaban en partes del estadio que no se mojaban pero la tarima donde Yanaray iba a tocar estaba en medio del terreno así que se mojaba. El magnate estaba triste porque viendo aquella tormenta sabia que no se podría dar el espectáculo. Además había gastado miles de dólares por gusto para que al final evento no se diera en el momento indicado. Pero Yanaray dijo que no se perdería esta oportunidad ni siquiera bajo lluvia o rallos. Así mientras todos discutían que se iba a hacer ella tomó su guitarra y se subió a la tarima.

Y comenzó a tocar baro los truenos, las luces del escenario la alumbraron. Fue una experiencia inolvidable para todos. La música fuerte que ella tocaba se sentía poderosa porque detrás estaba aquella inmensa tormenta. Todos quedaron satisfechos en la hora que duró el evento. A pesar de que quedó empapada lo hizo perfecto. Los millonarios grabaron videos que luego compartieron haciendo que su popularidad se disparara por cielos. Luego que terminó el evento, el Magnate le dijo que podía contar con el para lo que necesitara en el futuro. Y le dio una recompensa en efectivo.

But the best thing she gained that day was her stage name. From that day on, she would no longer be Yanaray, but would now be known as Storm, the storm girl.

Pero lo mejor que ganó ese día fue su nombre artístico, a partir de ese día ya no sería más Yanaray, ahora se la conocería como Storm, la chica tormenta.
