Ella es una chica que llega a ser cantante. Pero llega ahí casi sin buscarlo. Ya verán cómo se va desenvolviendo todo. Deseo que les guste. Dicho esto pues ya podemos ir comenzando.

Being a singer was never part of Penny's plans; she never wanted it or sought it out. She worked caring for elderly people in a nursing home. It had nothing to do with music, nor did she see anything different in the long run. At the nursing home, in addition to caring for the elderly residents, she often spent time with them—extra time outside of work. She used this time to chat with the seniors she got along with best and with whom she had formed strong friendships. To entertain them, she would often gather them in a room and sing them a song they liked to brighten their day. This way, the seniors, who spent all day at the nursing home, could clear their minds.

At the nursing home, even the other staff members would often join in the singing. It was fun, because initially she only sang to her elderly friends, but then the whole room would fill up with other people who came to listen, as well as the staff themselves. So, she would give a mini-concert from time to time.

En el sanatorio hasta los demás trabajadores se ponían a escuchar muchas veces las canciones. Era divertido, porque en realidad ella inicialmente solo le cantaba a sus amigos mayores pero luego se llenaba toda la sala tanto de otros que venían a escuchar y los mismos trabajadores del centro. Así que daba un mini concierto de vez en cuando.

When she finished singing, everyone applauded as if it were a real concert. Penny always did it with the sole purpose of helping her friends feel better, but she never sought admiration or recognition as a real singer. For a while, she continued working at the sanatorium, holding her mini-concert every Saturday. But one day, things were going to change, shattering the established status quo at the sanatorium. One day, a new, elderly woman arrived at the center. No one knew who she was. Penny tried to find out, but the files were confidential, as only the doctors in charge of each patient knew their past lives.

Because of this, she couldn't initially learn what the woman had done before. She was a somewhat serious and reserved woman. Unlike some of the other elderly residents who enjoyed being together, she preferred being alone. Penny, true to her natural personality, tried from the beginning to win her friendship, but Mirza, as she was called, wasn't very helpful. He simply announced the new days and nothing more.

Cuando acababa de cantar todos la aplaudían como si de un verdadero concierto se tratara. Por causa de eso no pudo saber en un primer momento a que se dedicaba antes. Era una mujer un poco seria y de pocas palabras. A diferencia de otros mayores que les gustaba estar juntos a otro a ella les gustaba mejor estar sola. Penny por su personalidad natural intentó desde el comienzo ganare su amistad pero Mirza que era su nombre no ayudaba mucho. Solo se limitaba a dar los nuevos días y nada más.

Even so, Penny wasn't going to give up easily and would keep trying. Days passed, and Saturday arrived. It was time for the day's concert, organized by Penny. All the elderly residents went to the conference room to listen. A nurse offered to take Mirza to the room, but she refused; she preferred to be alone. Since she refused, they left her in her room. Penny began to sing, and the speakers carried the music throughout the sanatorium to where Mirza was. When she heard Penny's music, she immediately moved in her wheelchair and went over to where Penny was so she could hear her; she had to see her sing.

Penny was overjoyed to see her arrive, so she sang a song especially for her. For the first time, they saw Mirza laugh. They didn't know why, but it made them happy to see her so happy. When the concert ended, she went over to Penny to apologize for her behavior and to explain why she was the way she was. Her children had put her in the sanatorium because she was very stubborn and refused to take her pills, so they wouldn't take her home until she started. That's why she was so upset from the first day. She confessed part of her past to him.

Aún así Penny no se iba a rendir fácil y seguiría tratando en otros momentos. Pues pasaron los días y llegó el sábado. Era momento del concierto del día organizado por Penny. Como no quiso entonces la dejaron en su habitación. Pues Penny empezó a cantar, y los altavoces hacían que la música se escuchara por parte del sanatorio hasta donde estaba Mirza. Cuando ella escuchó a música de Penny enseguida se movió en la silla de ruedas y se movió hasta donde estaba ella para poder escucharla, tenía que verla cantar.

Penny se alegró mucho al verla llegar así que le cantó una canción especialmente dedicada. Por primera vez vieron a Mirza reír, no sabían porque pero les alegraba verla feliz. Cuando el concierto terminó ella se acercó hasta donde estaba Penny para pedirle disculpas por su forma de ser y para explicarle por que era así. Sus hijos la habían puesto en el sanatorio porque ella muy testaruda y no quería tomar sus pastillas, así que hasta que no lo empezara a hacer no la llevarían a casa, Por eso estaba tan molesta desde el primer dia. Le confesó parte de su pasado.

She told her that she too had once been a singer, performing in bars and recreational venues. Based on her knowledge of the subject, she knew Penny had great potential as a singer. She had approached her simply to suggest she give singing a chance, not just at the sanatorium. Penny had never seriously considered singing beyond that place, but this advice was ultimately what motivated her to seek new horizons.

The rest is history. She left the sanatorium to try her luck and see if what Mirza said was true, if she did have potential as a singer. When she tried, she shone immediately. She released a song that went viral, ultimately propelling her to fame. Despite everything, she never completely left the sanatorium, as she still performs her concert there every Saturday. And of course, now she visits Mirza at her home because she finally took her medication and was able to return home. A piece of advice can sometimes be the spark that ignites a great adventure.

Le dijo que ella antes también fue una cantante que cantaba en bares y lugares de recreación. Y que en base a su conocimiento del tema sabía que Penny tenía mucho potencial en el canto. Se había acercado solo para decirle que le diera una oportunidad al canto y no solo lo hiciera en el sanatorio. Penny hasta aquí nunca había considerado seriamente cantar más allá de aquel lugar, pero este consejo fue finalmente quien la motivó a buscar nuevos horizontes.

Lo demás es solo historia pura y dura, ella dejó el sanatorio para probar suerte y ver si lo que decía Mirza era verdad y ella tenía potencial en el canto. Cuando probó brilló de inmediato.
