Saludos cordiales amigos queridos, espero que estén bien y listos para leer una nueva historia, porque hoy he escrito una para ustedes. Esta la he escrito sobre el personaje Jonah. Verán que el es un chico con mucho talento, solo que no sabe como liberarlo. Pero cuando tu no quieres el universo te ayuda. Verán de qué forma en la historia. Espero que les guste. Dicho esto es momento de comenzar.

If someone saw Jonah now, they wouldn't recognize him. He's changed so much that even his closest friends are surprised to see him. His transformation was like going from a dark life to one filled with light. He still can't quite believe everything that's happened lately. It all started just five years ago. At that time, he had just graduated from high school. Those were bitter years of study because he suffered a lot of bullying, which made him feel inferior. He was very intelligent and was often pressured to give up the answers on tests, something he didn't want to do. So then he was bullied and insulted. He managed to live with it, but it left a deep mark on him and made him feel worthless.

But he finally escaped that torment and entered the real world. Because he was good with numbers, he got a good job as an accountant. He was put in charge of the entire logistics of a large warehouse, and he quickly proved that he had a talent for it. But even though he was making progress in his life, the stress he experienced in the past still haunted him. One day, on his way home, he saw a garage sale. They were selling various things the owner no longer used. He noticed a nearly new drum set for sale for a very low price. Thinking it was a bargain, he decided to buy it to decorate his room. He had no intention of playing it; it was just for decoration.

So he bought it and took it home. He put it in his room. After cleaning it and making it shine, he looked at it. He liked how it looked. But he was curious to hear how it sounded, so he picked up the drumsticks and started playing. Of course, it was more noise than anything else, but he enjoyed it. The sound of the cymbals attracted his parents, who still lived with him. They liked seeing him laughing while playing since Jonah was always so serious. They were happy to see he had found a hobby. That same night, he somehow felt a connection to the drum set. He only wanted it as decoration, but he was interested in learning how to play it. Every day when he got home from work he would watch battery tutorial videos.

Si alguien ve a Jonah ahora no lo reconocería, ha cambiado tanto que hasta sus amigos más cercanos se sorprenden ahora al verlo. Su cambio fue como pasar de una vida oscura a una llena de luz. Es que ni el mismo aún se cree todo lo que ha pasado últimamente. Todo comenzó hace tan solo 5 años. En ese entonces él estaba acabado de salir de la escuela. Fueron años de estudios amargos porque sufrió mucho acoso y eso lo hacía sentir inferior. Era muy inteligente y a menudo era presionado para que dijera las respuestas en las pruebas, cosa que él no quería. Así que luego lo acosaban y lo insultaban. El pudo vivir con eso pero lo marcó mucho y lo hacía sentir como si no valiera nada.

Pero por fin pudo salir de ese martirio y pudo salir al mundo real. Como era bueno en los números pudo conseguir un buen trabajo como contable. Le encargaron llevar la logística completa de un gran almacén. Y rápidamente demostró que él tenía talento para eso. Pero a pesar de que progresaba en su vida el estrés que vivió en el pasado aún lo perseguía. Un día cuando iba de regreso a casa vio que había una venta de garaje en una casa. Estaban vendiendo varias cosas que el dueño ya no usaba. Le llamó la atención que vendían muy barato una batería casi nueva. Así que le pareció una ganga y quiso comprarla para decorar su cuarto con ella, no tenía intención de tocarla, era solo para decoración.

Así que la compró y la llevó para su casa. La puso en su cuarto. Luego de limpiarla y dejarla reluciente la miró. Y le gustó como se veía. Pero le dio curiosidad ver como se escuchaba, así que cogió las baquetas y comenzó a tocar. Claro fue más ruido que otra cosa, pero se divirtió haciéndolo. El ruido de los platillos atrajo a los padres que aún vivían con él, les gustó verlo riéndose tocando ya que Jonah siempre estaba muy serio. Así que les alegró ver que encontró un pasatiempo. Esa misma noche el de alguna forma se sintió unido a aquella batería, solo la quería como decoración, pero le interesaba aprender a tocarla. Cada día al llegar del trabajo se ponía a prender viendo videos de tutoriales de baterías.

Each video taught him new techniques he hadn't known. Because he was so intelligent, he learned very quickly. At work, he spent his days with numbers and inventories. The accounts were never-ending, and there was always more merchandise to count. His only desire after a long day like that was to get home and practice and play. When his parents saw him arrive, he was always sad and downcast. That was part of his personality, shaped by what had happened in the past. But then, when they went to his room and saw him playing, he was happy, practicing what he had learned. It comforted them to see that he had a way to release his frustration; it was as if the drums were the only thing that made him happy. And so the five years passed.

After five years of practice after each workday, his drumming skill was very high, even better than his talent for numbers. And his parents, who noticed it every day, realized that something had to change in his life. His job as an accountant didn't make him happy; it only kept him in a bad emotional state. But when he played, it was like he was a different person, and they noticed. That's why they started suggesting that now that he was so skilled at the drums, he should look for another job, one that involved music and him as a drummer. But despite the great talent he had acquired over five years, he refused to accept their suggestion. Deep down, he liked the idea, but because of the bullying he had suffered in the past, he felt inferior and worthless. He thought he wouldn't play well in front of people, and that's why he rejected the idea.

Cada video le iba enseñando técnicas nuevas que no conocía. Como era tan inteligente aprendía muy rápido. En el trabajo se pasaba los días con los números y los inventarios. Las cuentas nunca se acababan y siempre había más mercancía que contar. Su único deseo luego de una larga jornada como esa era llegar a casa para ponerse a practicar y tocar. Sus padres cuando lo veían llegar siempre estaba triste y con la cabeza baja. Eso era parte de su personalidad formada por lo que pasó en el pasado. Pero luego cuando iban a su cuarto y lo veían tocar el estaba alegre practicando lo que había aprendido. Les consolaba a ellos ver que el tenía una forma de descargar la frustración, era como si la batería fuera lo único que lo pusiera contento. Y así fueron pasando los 5 años.

Luego de 5 años de práctica luego de cada día de trabajo su habilidad tocando la batería era muy alta, incluso mejor que su talento para los números. Y sus padres que cada día lo notaban se dieron cuenta que algo debía cambiar en su vida. Su trabajo como contable no lo hacía feliz, solo lo mantenía en un estado malo emocional. Pero cuando tocaba era como si fuera otra persona, y eso ellos lo notaron. Por eso comenzaron a sugerirle que ahora que dominaba muy bien la batería buscara otro trabajo, uno que involucrara la música y el como baterista. Pero a pesar de su gran talento adquirido en 5 años se negó a aceptar su sugerencia. A el en su interior le gustó la idea, pero por el acoso que sufrió en el pasado se sentía inferior y que no valía nada. El pensaba que no tocaría bien frente a personas y por eso rechazaba la idea.

So he continued with his sad and monotonous life. But this time his parents would take action for him. They knew him so well that they knew if he could overcome this mental barrier, he could be happy as a drummer. So they did the following. They hired a whole band, except for the drummer. They told the band which song Jonah knew best. They loaded the drum kit he had in his room into a van. And they all went with the band to Jonah's job. He still didn't know anything; he was in his office as usual. Suddenly, the band arrived and started unloading the equipment. They told him it was just more merchandise to count, so he believed them. When they had everything ready, they took advantage of him going to the bathroom to bring the drum kit from outside in the van. They placed it in the middle of the office.

When Jonah came out of the bathroom, he saw it and recognized it immediately. His parents were beside him. Each member of the band took their instrument. And suddenly they told him they wanted him to play the song he knew so well with them. The surprise was so great that he didn't know how to react, but he agreed. They started playing, and he showed everyone his great skill. He himself acknowledged that the universe used his parents to make him realize that his life was meant to be as a drummer. Before the band left, he gave them a card; it was from another band, friends of his, who were looking for a drummer. Jonah thanked his parents for showing him what he himself didn't want to see. After that, the rest is history. He overcame his past, became a member of a band, and went far. The universe gives you things when you're not looking for them, and Jonah is the best example of that.

Luego que Jonah salió del baño la vio y la reconoció de inmediato. A su lado estaban sus padres. Cada miembro de la banda tomó su instrumento. Y de pronto le dijeron que querían que tocara junto a ellos la canción que el tanto conocía. La sorpresa fue tan grande que no supo como reaccionar y accedió. Empezaron a tocar y el le demostró a todos su gran habilidad. El mismo reconoció que el universo usó a sus padres para que se diera cuenta de que su vida debía ser como baterista. Antes de la banda irse les dejó una tarjeta, era de otra banda amigos suyos, estaban buscando un baterista. Jonah le agradeció a sus padres por demostrarle lo que el mismo no queria ver. Luego de eso todo es historia, superó su pasado, se hizo miembro de una banda y llegó lejos. El universo te da las cosas cuando tu no las buscas y Jonah es el mejor ejemplo de eso.
