A warm greeting to all my dear friends! It's a pleasure to greet you with another story written for you here in Hive's most musical community. Today's story is about Dean. He's a singer with a certain personality trait that leads him down some rather turbulent paths. If you'd like to know what happens to him because of this trait, I invite you to read the story, as always. I never give away too much in the introduction to avoid spoilers, so there you have it—read on!

Un cordial saludo estimados y queridos amigos, es un gusto saludarlos en una historia más que escrito para todos ustedes acá en la comunidad más musical de hive. Esta de hoy será sobre Dean. El es un cantante con una cualidad en su forma de ser que lo lleva por caminos un poco digamos turbulentos. Si quieren conocer que le ocurre en su vida a causa de esa cualidad les invito a leer como siempre la historia. Nunca doy muchos detalles en la introducción para no crear spoilers, así que ya saben, a leer se ha dicho.

The truth is, Dean is someone who has often had to learn the hard way. If there's a bumpy road, it's the one he's been on, the one he's on now, and the one he'll be on in the future. Since childhood, he's always been a bit impulsive and lacks self-control. This trait has always caused him a lot of trouble, and his ability to navigate these problems is almost always poor, though it doesn't necessarily help him learn much along the way. But he's the typical person who doesn't learn from his mistakes, and if he does, it's at a very slow pace, leaving him little room to maneuver and avoid problems.

As a child, when he wanted something, he would shout for it; he didn't want to wait. You had to run and get him what he wanted immediately, otherwise he'd throw a tantrum and start arguing. Perhaps he wasn't raised well from the beginning because he always got what he wanted, and maybe that reinforced the problem later on as he grew up.

La verdad Dean es alguien que muchas veces ha tenido que aprender por las malas, si hay un camino con baches y piedras esos son por donde el ha pasado, por el que pasa ahora y hasta por el que pasará. El desde niño siempre ha sido un poco impulsivo y no tiene mucho autocontrol. Esa cualidad de su persona le traería muchos problemas siempre, y su capacidad para maniobrar entre los problemas casi siempre sería un poco mala, aunque no sería le serviría para aprender mucho por el camino. Pero el es el típico que no aprende de los errores y si lo hace a un ritmo muy lento que le da poca maniobra para esquivar los problemas.

Siendo un niño cuando quería algo lo pedía gritando, no quería esperar. Había que correr y llevarle lo que quería de inmediato, sino empezaba un berrinche y a discutir. Quizás no fue bien enseñado en un comienzo porque siempre le daban lo que quería y quizás eso reforzó el problema más adelante cuando fue creciendo.

As a teenager in school, he continued with this personality. If he didn't get the best grades, he would argue with his teachers for not giving him a better mark. He lacked the self-control to understand that he was actually the one to blame for not studying more. But there was no way to make him understand. At this point, these traits had caused him various problems, such as reprimands from teachers, warnings not to disrespect them, and many punishments at home for his bad behavior. Although these punishments did little to improve the situation.

Reaching adulthood, he channeled his negative feelings into music. Singing truly relieved his stress and gave him a peace he couldn't describe. That's why he decided to become a professional singer. But far from getting rid of his problems, he continued to carry them with him because along with the stress relief came his impulsiveness and lack of self-control, and this was noticeable from the very first moment he started singing.

Siendo un adolecente en la escuela continuó con esta personalidad, si no tenía las mejores notas pues se ponía discutir con su maestros por no haberle dado una mejor nota, no tenía autocontrol para entender que en realidad era el mismo el culpable por no haber estudiado un poco más. Pero bueno, no había forma de hacerlo entender. Esta este punto estas cualidades le habían traído diversos problemas, como llamados de atención por parte de los profesores, advertencias de no faltarle el respeto a ellos, y en su casa muchos castigos por su mala forma. Aunque esos castigos poco arreglaban la situación.

Llegando a la adultez canalizó sus sentimientos negativos con la música, la verdad cantar le quitaba el estrés y le daba un paz que no podía describir. Por eso decidió hacerse un cantante profesional. Pero lejos de librarse de los problemas aún seguida arrastrándolos porque juntos con la perdida de estrés se trajo a su impulsividad y su falta de autocontrol, y esto se notó desde un primer momento cuando empezó a cantar.

He wanted to release new songs quickly, without waiting for anyone to review or edit them. He hated being told what to do or having recommendations that involved changing his style or addressing the negative things he said in his songs. So, arguments with music editors were constant. Many production projects were canceled because there was no way to reach an agreement with him. It was an ordeal to maintain any communication with him without ending up arguing.

Part of this personality trait translated into the results of his songs. By often ignoring those with knowledge and experience, his rush to release new songs resulted in work that was often mediocre and full of errors and flaws. Ignoring advice caused these problems. Music had started as a relief for him at first, but now it was more stress than anything else, and wherever you looked, it was a series of constant failures.

Quería sacar canciones nuevas rápido, sin tener que esperar que alguien las revisara o las corrigiera, Odiaba que alguien le dijera que tenía que hacer o le recomendara cosas que implicaran cambiar cosas de su estilo o las cosas negativas que decía en las canciones. Así que las discusiones con editores musicales eran contantes. Muchas veces varios proyectos se producción se cancelaron por culpa de que no había forma de ponerse de acuerdo con él. Era una odisea poder mantener cierta comunicación con el sin terminar discutiendo.

Parte de esta forma de ser se tradujo en lo que obtenía gracias a sus canciones. Al muchas veces no tomar en cuenta a los que sabían y tenían experiencias, su apuro por sacar canciones nuevas daban fin un trabajo muchas veces mediocre y lleno de errores y fallas. No escuchar las consejos traía esos problemas. La música comenzó siendo un alivio para el al principio así que ahora era más estrés que otra cosa y por donde quiera que lo miraras eran fracasos constantes.

There was no doubt he had to change, but he only realized it the hard way. Seeing that his life was nothing but a turbulent cycle of stress, largely of his own making, and feeling stuck in a career that wasn't bearing fruit, he was forced to change. So he began trying to cultivate self-control and be less impulsive. But this would be no easy task. Now there's a long road ahead to change, to move forward; it's been a long, bumpy road in the past, in the present, but now, if he wants to, perhaps not in the future. Music has changed his mind; he doesn't want to continue down the path he was on.

No había duda el tenía que cambiar, pero lo reconoció a las malas. Al ver que su vida solo era una turbulencia de estrés causado en gran parte por el mismo, y al verse estancado en una carrera que no daba frutos tuvo que verse obligado a cambiar. Así que comenzó a intentar cultivar el autocontrol y ser menos impulsivo. Pero esta no sería para nada una tarea fácil. Ahora hay mucho camino que recorrer para cambiar, para poder salir adelante, ha sido un camino largo lleno de baches en el pasado, en el presente, pero ahora si el quiere quizás en el futuro no. La música lo ha hecho cambiar de opinión, no quiere seguir yendo por donde iba.
