El personaje de hoy es Bella, ella es una pianista frustrada. ¿Logrará salir de su frustración y pasar de la práctica a la acción? Bueno como siempre les invito a leer la historia para poder descubrir la respuesta. Dicho esto ya podemos comenzar.

Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes, inspiring thousands of people around the world. But what happens when you never take the plunge after all that practice? Well, you don't get anywhere, and as the saying goes, you never become a master. Bella is exactly this person. For a long time, she's dreamed of one day becoming a pianist, of performing on grand stages, playing for thousands of people, and having fans. But she's never taken action. Her whole life has been spent practicing and practicing. It's true that she's learned a lot and has completely mastered the piano, but she hasn't gotten anywhere. Pues que no vas a ningún lado y como dice la frase nunca llegas a ser el maestro. Bella es justo esta persona. Desde hace mucho tiene el sueño de algún día ser una pianista, de poder estar en grandes escenarios, de tocar para miles de personas y tener fans. Pero nunca ha pasado a la acción. Toda su vida, se la ha pasado practicando y practicando. Es cierto que ha aprendido mucho y ha logrado dominar por completo el piano, pero no ha llegado a ningún lado. Ha tirado todos esos años de práctica al viento.

Lo que le ha impedido dar el paso es que es una persona muy tímida, tiene prejuicios internos. Piensa que si se da a conocer al mundo la gente la criticará. También se imagina que a nadie le gustará su música. Pero nada de eso es cierto, todo son imaginaciones suyas. Ella tiene gran habilidad para poder triunfar en el mundo como una gran pianista. Como no tiene muchos ingresos hace horas extra así que es común que trabaje los 7 días de la semana.

The worst part is that she no longer sees herself as a pianist; what started as a dream has become just a hobby. Even though she saw things this way, she felt a little sad because she loved the piano, and it hurt a lot that she could never have pursued it professionally.

Her head was full of contradictions; she wanted to do something about it, but then she was afraid. One day she wanted to go to an audition, but she had to work overtime. And that's how the days went by, then weeks, months, and years. If it were up to her, she would never have changed course, not on her own. But when you can't do it alone, there's almost always someone who guides you or even pushes you to help you.

Como pasa tanto tiempo trabajando eso le ha impedido también sacar un día para ir a algún lugar para conocer gente que la ponga en contacto con músicos, o con bandas que le puedan ofrecer un puesto. Literalmente ha tirado años y años de práctica a la basura, ha retrasado su sueño por no tomar acción antes. Lo peor de todo es que ella ya no se ve como una pianista, lo que comenzó siendo un sueño se convirtió en solo algo para pasar el rato. A pesar de que veía las cosas así si se sentía un poco triste porque amaba el piano, y le dolía mucho nunca poder haberse dedicado profesionalmente a el.

Su cabeza era contradicciones por todos lados, quería hacer algo al respecto, pero luego le daba miedo. Un día quería ir a una audición pero tenía que hacer horas extras en el trabajo. Y así fue como fue pasando primeros los días, luego semanas, meses y años. Si fuera por ella nunca hubiera cambiado el rumbo, no sola. Pero cuando tu no puedes casi siempre hay alguien que te guía o hasta te empuja para poder ayudarte.

One ordinary day, when she least expected it, she met Lidio. He was a handsome young man who arrived at the factory where she worked. They got to know each other and eventually began a relationship. They became very close and cared deeply for one another. One evening, while they were talking after dinner, Bella told Lidio about all the time she had spent practicing the piano. He couldn't believe it; he didn't understand how that could have happened. But he didn't judge her, since he knew that would only hurt her. While she was working, one day she took some recordings they had of her playing to several groups that were looking for a pianist. Although she had no experience working with a band, the group leaders saw in her an excellent pianist. All that time hadn't been wasted because it had served to refine her practice.

She got some auditions with several of those bands. Now all that was left was to tell Bella about the opportunities she had if she accepted. When that day came, Lidio told her what he had done at the factory. At first, Bella was scared, then annoyed, and finally, she smiled. She knew he had done it for her own good, to see her happy and fulfilling her dream. This action was what finally motivated her to take action and do more than just practice. The next day, she went with him to the auditions, and as a reward, a band accepted her as their new pianist.

At that precise moment, a new life began for her. It's true that she could have started much earlier, but as Lidio told her, better late than never. Right now, she plans to leave her job at the factory so she can finally dedicate herself to the piano. Bella will be a great pianist; there's no doubt about it. But she had to learn that it's better to take action than to just stay in the same place. Dreams are just around the corner, go after them, don't wait for them.

Un día cualquiera cuando ella menos se imaginaba conoció a Lidio. El era un joven apuesto que llegó a la fábrica donde trabajaba ella. Ellos se fueron conociendo y eventualmente iniciaron una relación. Ambos llegaron a ser muy unidos y se preocupaban mucho el uno por el otro. Una noche cuando estaban conversando después de la cena Bella le contó a Lidio todo el tiempo que había pasado practicando con el piano. Mientras ella estaba trabajando un día llevó algunas grabaciones que tenían de ella tocando a varios grupos que estaban buscando una pianista. Aunque no tenía experiencia trabajando con una banda los líderes de los grupos vieron en ella una excelente pianista. Todo el tiempo no se había perdido porque había servido para refinar su práctica.

Consiguió algunas audiciones en varias de esas bandas. Ahora solo faltaba contarle a Bella las oportunidades que tenía si aceptaba. Cuando llegó ese día de la fabrica Lidio le contó lo que había hecho, al principio Bella se asustó, luego se molestó y al final sonrió. Sabía que el lo había echo por su bien, para poderla ver feliz y cumpliendo su sueño. Esta acción fue quien por fin la motivó a tomar acción y hacer algo más que solo practicar. Al otro día fue con el a las audiciones, y premio consiguió que una banda la aceptara como su nueva pianista.

En se preciso instante comenzaba una nueva vida para ella. Es cierto que pudo haber iniciado mucho tiempo atrás pero como le decía Lidio más vale tarde que nunca. En este momento piensa dejar su trabajo en la fabrica para por fin poder dedicarse al piano. Bella será una gran pianista, de eso no hay duda. Pero tuvo que aprender que es mejor tomar acción que solo quedarse en el mismo lugar. Los sueños están a la vuelta de la esquina, búscalos, no esperes por ellos.
