Vruz and SPS Staking

Hello everyone! It has been a while since the Vruz sale ended but I want to talk about what it meant for SPS stakers and the game. I'll start by saying that this was the first time I ever felt like it was worth staking SPS. I have been playing for about 18/19 months and I saw the start of vouchers being given for staking SPS. At the time, vouchers were traded for 16$ each! But I didn't have much SPS and only got 1 voucher during that time. Staked SPS allows me to vote for proposals but I never felt like my vote made a difference. The whales will decide the fate of the proposals every single time. It allows me to participate in tournaments, which is nice, but not very exciting. Getting more SPS, vouchers, and GLX is good but all that is only good if there's a utility for those tokens. Right now, there's not much utility or value. Vruz was the first time I actually wanted to grow my SPS and wished I could have more. I really hope this isn't the last time something like this happens. In fact, I'd love it if one of the 4 promised quarterly promos, every year, was done like this.

I was able to reach 21k SPS, which allowed me to get 21 copies (unlucky that I didn't get a single GF). I was over 20k and I tried my best to reach 21k. I sold some random tokens, some Forge, and eventually, 1000 DEC to be able to get one more Vruz.

Now, let's talk about the card. Let's be real, for novice and bronze, the card is not needed. It just doesn't do anything that other cards don't already do. However, at level 5 - silver level, it gets martyr. That's where you want to have access to it. It's the only card with an even mana cost to have martyr. it's great to place in the second to last position, with a camouflage monster in the last position, and give out the bonus for 2 monsters, if the opposing team has any sneak attackers. It's also very easy to sacrifice in Thorns, Earthquake or Noxious Fumes rule sets.

For gold, at level 8, it gets 2 attack and that's a big improvement. The last 2 levels are not super important, but it's nice to have the True Strike, against some cards.

I got a maxed copy because I really like the card and I'm playing in Diamond and Champion. I think it's a really good card and it allows for some crazy combinations, just like other martyr cards do. This one has the upside of wanting players to level it up.
