Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Using Magic in Weak Magic

Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked

I fought an interesting battle in the Weak Magic rule set. Not only I used mostly magic monsters, but I also protected against magic with Immortalis.

This game has the following rule sets: Aimless, Taking Sides, and Weak Magic. I went with Immortalis and used Mycelic Infantry as my tank. I followed it up with Queen Mycelia, Goblin Psychich, Runemancer Florre, Uloth Dhampir, and Mycelic Slipspawn. They opted for Quix the Devious with Djin Chwala in front. Next, they placed Carnage Titan, followed by 4 magic monsters: Queen Mycelia, Goblins Psychic, Chaos Dragon, and Mycelic Slipspawn.

With Aimless, anything can happen but I had better protection against their magic attacks and Infantry resists both melee attackers. In round 1, I was able to kill their Queen, which allowed my monsters to have some armor. In round 2, Infantry killed the Djinn but died to the Thorns. In the next one, Carnage Titan took out my Queen. I finished their Slipspawn in round 4 and Stunned the Titan. In round 5, I killed the Dragon but Carnage Titan got my Goblin. However, their team was very low in HP and all it took was 2 attacks in round 6 to end the game.

What do you all think about this game? Would you have done anything different? Let me know in the comments! Thank you for reading!!
