Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - "Healing" in Healed Out

Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today, I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked.

I fought an interesting battle in Modern Diamond ranked with the Healed Out rule set. This is a very simple one: all abilities that restore HP disappear. It doesn't matter if they come from units or summoners, they are gone! However, there is still a way to gain HP under this rule set. By using Life Leech, units can still increase their HP because it's not restoring it. Both sides used Life Leech.

This game had the following rule sets: Healed Out and Keep Your Distance. The mana cap was 60, and only Earth was inactive. I went with Lorkus, putting Djinn Muirat in front. I followed it up with the Weapons Training combo of Grimbardun Smith, Skok Duskblight, and Riftwing. I put Nalara Geinek next and finished with Countess Sinash. They opted for Lily Shieldpaw with Djinn Oshannus as their tank. Next, they placed their own Weapon Training combination consisting of Grimbardun Smith, Rage, and Ulundin Overseer. Oshuur Constantia and Anasth Soothsayer were their final units. As for the Tactics, I gave Life Leech and Affliction to both my trained units.

Round 1

I didn't miss any of my attacks, killing Oshannus twice. They left my Muirat at 3 HP.

Round 2

Rage dealt the killing blow to my Djinn, but it got Resurrected. They managed to kill it the second time, but their Grimbardun Smith died to the Magic Reflect.

Rounds 3

I put Rage to 3 HP and even Stunned it. Anasth Soothsayer Cleansed it, but it was too late for it to attack in the same round. They barely dealt any damage to my Grimbardun.

Round 4

I eliminated Rage and left Ulundin at just 2 HP.

Round 5

I managed to take out the rest of their team during this round

The +1 magic damage was a huge factor in my win. My Resurrect was also much better because Djinn Muirat has armor and Void Armor. The Magic Reflect was also great. Ulundin Overseer is also not that good. It has a lot of HP but no useful ability here. Other non-attackers could have a bigger impact and leave room for other units that cost more mana. A Chaos Dragon instead of one of their last two units would give them some better chances.
