Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Dragon Fight

I fought an interesting battle where both players used a dragon summoner.

This game has the following rule sets: Taking Sides, Reverse Speed, and Keep Your Distance. I picked Lily Shieldpaw and put Baakjira in front, followed by Oshuur Constantia. I had Anasth Soothsayer and the Weapons Training combination of Merdaali Guardian and Berix Snakeye. I finished the team with Merdhampir. They opted for Quix the Devious and also used Baakjira as their first unit. Wave Brood was next, followed by the Blast monsters: Chaos Dragon and Riverboat Captain. They finished the team with Angelic Mandarin and Igor Darkspear.

For the first 3 round, I was hitting Wave Brood, dealing more damage than they could recover with Triage. My units were taking some Return Fire but it wasn't enough to kill them. I killed it, however, Chaos Dragon was able to kill my Merdaali Guardian, which got Resurrected. I had a lot more damage and Heals, so they were unable to do anything against my Baakjira, while I was making theirs weaker. In round 6, I finished it Chaos Dragon went to the first slot, which meant that couldn't do anything else. It took as while, but I finished the game in round 9.

I think we had somewhat similar strategies, despite the many different monsters. I had much more sustain than them and I don't know if there was any combination of Chaos Dragon Scattershot attacks that could have defeated my team. Merdhampir's Criple was a great way to make a healing tank weaker, over time. Affliction could work better but it can be Dispelled. On paper, their team seems to counter at least some parts of mine. A Taunt with Void and Return Fire, Chaos Dragon, and Silence, all seem to nerf my team. But my superior sustain paired with Criple and Oppress, made my team better.
