Kavor Skarn is comparable to the 3 mana dual splinter Archons from Rebellion. Almost no abilities, although +1 speed to the unit's with Shapeshift is very nice, and 2 splinters for 3 mana. I use it mostly when it's Silenced Summoners.

Sheng Xiao is weaker than Akane, no doubt. However, in long games it can be very powerful. If the 2 extra attacks don't change much, having the Corrosive Ward and Poison Burst can be great. They work especially well with units that self resurrect. Rebirth and Resurgence give an extra Poison Burst and it can be insane with Heloise!
