Battle of the Day #194

This is a ranked Champion match. The game had the following rule sets: Weak Magic, Noxious Fumes, and Maneuvers. It was a 21 mana game with only Death and Water inactive. I went with Eternal Tofu and placed Halfling Refugee in front. Making use of Maneuvers, I had Sacrosanct Shanker next, followed by Albahoo Forester. I finished the team with Venka the Vile. They opted for Lorkus and also used Halfling Refugee as their first unit. Mana Warden was next, making a very nice use of Maneuvers. Venka and Kha'zi Conjurer were the last ones.

I gave Divine Shield and Corrosive Ward to the Refugee, Albahoo, and Venka. They gave Life Leech and Affliction to Venka and Kha'zi Conjurer. Kha'zi took out the Divine Shield, and Venka put my Halfling to 2 HP. My Venka and Shanker attacked their Refugee down to 2, as well. Mana Warden finished my Refugee, and theirs took just 1 damage from Thorns, allowing it to survive the Poison, because it recovered 2 HP. In round 2, Burning spread to Venka, making their team take a lot of damage. Kha'zi's attack destroyed Shanker's armor, but my Venka killed their first two units. Their Venka killed the Shanker for the first time and took out Albahoo's Divine Shield. At the start of the third round, their two units couldn't survive the combination of Burning and Poison.
