Splinterlands Update - Frontier and Land progress (ENG/GER)

Hello dear Spinterlands community,

Another week has passed and I have to say that this was the best update in Splinterlands in a long time. I've also made significant progress in my land development and I'm very excited to hear what you think of the progress.

Frontier Mode

Frontier Mode builds on the successfully launched campaign. In Frontier Mode, you can only use Foundations cards, so you should definitely finish the campaign before starting Frontier Mode.

In Frontier Mode, you have your own energy bar and can play 24 games a day without any restrictions on Modern or Wild games. Furthermore, in Frontier Mode, you don't receive SPS or Glient for victories, but you have the chance to win cards that can be rented or sold.

Yes, you heard right. Finally, there are real reward cards again and no more of that soulbound junk. I really hope that this upgrade will also be introduced for Glient cards after a test phase. Because it makes Splinterlands much more appealing to play.

How do you win reward cards in Frontier Mode?

You can win three daily rewards every day. The higher your league, the greater the rewards you receive. In Bronze 3, you only receive one card after you have won five matches. This means that you can win a maximum of three cards per day in Bronze 3.

Yesterday, I finally managed to advance to Silver 3, which means I receive three cards per reward, or nine cards per day. You can win anything from Common to GFL cards.

If you haven't done so yet, you should definitely try out Frontier Mode!

My absolute favorite Foundations card

The Saltwater Mage is my absolute favorite card in Foundations mode. This is mainly due to the power of this card. Together with the Summoner, the card has Sneak and attacks the last card with 3 Magic.

This not only takes down opponents in Frontier mode, but also in Wild or Modern mode.

If you combine the card with Captain Fellblade, opponents who haven't set up their cards properly at the back will be knocked out even faster. With this combination, a total of 6 magic hits the last card through the Sneak ability. In Modern, I deliberately don't play the combination too often and usually end up with a surprise victory.

In summary, I have to admit that Frontier mode is an absolute success, and I hope that they will now put a lot of marketing effort into promoting how good and easy it is to win NFTs again in Splinterlands.

My Land Progress

First of all, I have to say that constant progress with Land is not exactly cheap. Just to supply my plots with enough DEC, I have purchased over 600,000 DEC via the Hive Engine in the last 10 days. So you could say that I have contributed my share to the price development :D

I've made very good progress with the six land plots I purchased. Five of the six plots have been producing raw materials for me since yesterday. I must have made a mistake with the sixth plot, because I only staked three of the five cards here, which meant that construction took much too long. However, I corrected this mistake yesterday and will also finish here over the weekend.

After that, I will be producing enough raw materials to be able to produce one battle kit per month. However, I am much more excited about when the cards for land will arrive and how many I will be able to produce. In addition, three days ago I noticed that I cannot supply all my workers with grain and that I still need to take action here.

So I looked for a region where almost all plots were for sale and purchased three more grain plots there. These grain plots are now so advanced that they will already be producing next week.

For one of the plots, I also decided to purchase more than just Rare CL cards and filled it with several max level Torhilo the Frozen cards. There are now no more max cards available on the market.

These were definitely not my last land purchases, because my goal remains to become a land baron with 50 land plots. I'm already very excited to see which Max card I'll remove from the market next.

wieder ist eine Woche vergangen und ich muss sagen, dass es das seit langem beste Update innerhalb von Splinterlands gab. Des Weiteren bin ich bei meiner Land Entwicklung erheblich weitergekommen und bin sehr gespannt, was Ihr zu dem Fortschritt sagt.

Frontier Modus

Der Frontier Modus setzt auf die erfolgreich eingeführte Kampagne auf. Im Frontier Modus könnt Ihr nur Foundations Karten einsetzen, weshalb Ihr die Kampagne unbedingt zu ende Spielen solltet, bevor Ihr mit dem Frontier Modus beginnt.

Im Frontier Modus habt Ihr eine eigene Energy leiste und könnt damit 24 Spiele am Tag spielen, ohne dass die Spiele für Modern oder Wild eingeschränkt werden. Des Weiteren erhaltet Ihr im Frontier Modus für siege keine SPS oder Glient, sondern habt die Chance Karten zu gewinnen, welche Vermietet oder Verkauft werden können.

Ja Ihr habt richtig gehört. Es gibt endlich wieder richtig Reward Karten und nicht mehr diesen Soulbound Schrott. Ich hoffe sehr, dass diese Upgrade nach einer Testphase auch für die Glientkarten eingeführt wird. Denn es erhöht den Reiz Splinterlands zu spielen erheblich.

Wie gewinnt man Reward Karten im Frontier Modus?

Ihr könnt jeden Tag drei Daily Rewards gewinnen. Dabei erhaltet Ihr je höher Eure Liga ist größere Rewards. In Bronze 3 erhaltet Ihr lediglich eine Karte nachdem Ihr fünf Siege geholt habt. Damit könnt Ihr in Bronze 3 also maximal 3 Karten am Tag gewinnen.

Ich habe es gestern endlich geschafft in silber 3 aufzusteigen und erhalte dadurch drei Karten je Reward und damit 9 Karten am Tag. Dabei könnt Ihr zwischen Common und GFL Karten alles gewinnen.

Wenn Ihr es noch getan habt, dann solltet Ihr den Frontier Modus auf jeden Fall einmal testen!

Mein absolute Foundations lieblings Karte

Die Saltwater Mage ist meine absolute lieblings Karte im Foundations Modus. Dies liegt vor allem an der Power dieser Karte. Zusammen mit dem Beschwörer hat die Karte Sneak und greift mit 3 Magie die letzte Karte an.

Damit fallen nicht nur im Frontier Modus die Gegner um, sondern auch im Wild oder Modern Modus.

Kombiniert man die Karte noch mit der Captain Fellblade, dann werde Gegner die ihr Karten hinten nicht richtig aufgestellt haben noch schneller umgehauen. Denn mit dieser Kombination schlagen ganze 6 Magie durch die Sneak Fähigkeit auf die letzte Karte ein. In Modern spiele ich die Kombination mit Absicht nicht zu oft und lande damit meistens einen Überraschungssieg.

Zusammenfassen muss ich zugeben, dass der Frontier Modus absolut gelungen ist und ich hoffe, dass man nun ordentlich Marketing darauf verwenden, wie gut und einfach man bei Splinterlands wieder NFTs gewinnen kann.

Mein Land Fortschritt

Zu erst einmal muss ich sage, dass ein konstanter Fortschritt bei Land nicht gerade günstig ist. Alleine um meine Plots mit ausreichend DEC zu versorgen habe ich in den letzten 10 Tagen über 600.000 DEC über die Hive Engine erworben. Man könnte also sagen, dass ich meinen Teil für die Kursentwicklung beigetragen haben :D

Bei den gekauften sechs Land Plots bin ich sehr gut vorwärts gekommen. Fünf von sechs Plots produzieren seit gestern Rohstoffe für mich. Beim Sechsten Plot muss mir ein Fehler unterlaufen sein, denn hier hatte ich nur drei von fünf Karten gestaked und dadurch hat das errichten deutlich zu lange gedauert. Diesen Fehler habe ich allerdings gestern behoben und werde auch hier am Wochenende fertig werden.

Danach produziere ich genug Rohstoffe um ein Battle Kit im Monat produzieren zu können. Allerdings bin ich viel gespannter wann die Karten für Land kommen und wie viele ich davon produzieren kann. Zusätzlich ist mir vor drei Tagen aufgefallen, dass ich gar nicht all meine Arbeiter mit Grain versorgen kann und ich hier noch Handlungsbedarf habe.

Daher habe ich mir eine Region gesucht, wo fast alle Plots zum Verkauf stehen und dort nochmal drei Grain Plots erworben. Auch diese Grain Plots sind mittlerweile so weit fortgeschritten, dass sie ab nächster Woche bereits produzieren werden.

Bei einem der Plots habe ich mich auch auch dazu hinreisen lassen mehr als nur Rare CL Karten zu erwerben und habe diesen mit mehreren max Level Torhilo the Frozen besetzt. Wovon es nun keine einzige Max Karte mehr auf dem Markt gibt.

Dies waren auf jeden Fall nicht meine letzten Land Käufe, denn das Ziel bleibt, mit 50 Land Plots ein Land Baron zu werden. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt, welche Max Karte ich als nächstes vom Markt verschwinden lassen.
