Cards like Fungus Flinger or Vruz are designed to die fast, so we can trigger the martyr easily. Common tactic used is place a low-health Martyr next to heavy hitters like Quora Towershead, and watch that Quore turned into beasts. Martyr shines in rulesets like Earthquake, poison, and opportunity, where quick deaths are easier to get, making it a reliable combo piece.

So, which is better? Bloodline Tribute offers deeper strategy. Its bonuses are specific into the bloodline , encouraging creative deck building across elements, but it requires careful planning to align units and Archons. If your deck isn’t bloodline focused, it’s less effective. Meanwhile Martyr is more simpler, with adjacent units get a quick buff, no confussion or additional condition.

In my opinion Martyr feels like a safe bet for consistent boosts, especially in fast paced matches with the ruleset I've mentioned, martyr monster also having low health for easier trigger. But Bloodline Tribute has higher potential, unlocking wild synergies when you nail the bloodline things. But I don't know yet the stats for those monster with the bloodline tribute, are they also having low health for easy trigger ?
