Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Salamander Dragon / Calamity in Trouble!

It is a pleasure to announce that the card Calamity in the game will be the warrior at the center of my presentation this week.
The potential of this card is considerable, especially if you find the resources to level up a team that will boost his potential.
You will understand why this card is a serious problem in the arena when it is against you in Higher league battles.

Main battle rulesets
All melee units have sneak attacks

Mana value: 35
It is a combat that will show a lot of potential in firepower from both side of the board. The opportunity to bring in a gladiator always give a hint of serious combination of dangerous warriors coming in the arena.
A. Impressive Magic Combat
When the arena opens the door and the warriors appeared with the large domination of magic warriors, I knew that the Splinters who fell for the trap of sneak on all melee units will instantly lose the first round.
It was two Splinters with enough experience to make the right move and build their team in a way that melee attacks does not leave the magic defense weak.

Tofu cards in the arena looks very powerful. They had enough punch to scare away any adventurers trying to fight their way up in the league. I was sure that Smith role as a tanker will create serious difficulty to the opposition offensive effort to win the game. Towershead is a gladiator of high caliber in this fight.

The second side of the board came to the fight with a secret weapon none could image will perform so well at the critical moment in the battle.

Smith on the Tofu side did the best he could to hold the position against the magic attacks.
The only problem was the appearance of Calamity at the end with a super large life point and the last standing ability that double his specific against Towershead already weak despite the bloodlust ability in action.

B. A second demonstration of the power of Last Stand
You will find in this combat the way Last Stand can make the difference in the last round, causing the enemy to completely lose grip on the solid ground.
The fire team was well created considering the arena rulesets. What happened in the arena as the death dragon element started intense strikes on the red element position?
The cards were slowly losing their life point, while calamity always at the back was compounding his life point.
Calamity once he reached the front row he becomes unstoppable due to his last stand boosting all his performance.
The ruleset camouflage played also an interesting role, protecting the position of Calamity until the last the moment he entered in action.
C. The First Last Stand weakness in the game
It is rare to see a team prepared to defend against a possible opponent with the last stand ability.
It was the case in this combat. I would have never played as well as the dragon water in the arena.
The element that showed the relevance of this combo was the opposite team strength in the arena. The level of experience was high enough to believe that this combo is one of the best weapon against last stand ability.
It was not easy to find a battle where Calamity lost in the last round. if you do not take out calamity during the first rounds in the last one he will clean your side of the board.
Although last standing is crazy effective in the last round there is one simple way to take your revenge on Calamity reign.
You put two powerful magic warriors with stun in their unlocked abilities at the back.
As soon as calamity unleashed his secret weapon you can stun him to sleep and finish him slowly.
Calamity goes into super mode last stand but he is sleeping. This is so funny way to show Calamity Splinter your understanding of the game.
