Beautiful day over here in the southern lands of Pretoria. I was looking out for a surprise counterstrike from the conclave Arcana warriors, but I made it through the night.

One question remains in the matter of the rapid progression on the battlefield since the game restarted. Is Champions League less challenging, or the big players are waiting for the last leg of the season to come back.

As splinter, you should be prepared for any outcomes. When the time of slow motion occurs like the moment you may be witnessing, it is proper to look for amazing warrior to recruit in your crew.

In this spirit, let us see which melee warriors could stand in front line and boost the team strategy until victory is secure.

Lose All ability that restore health

All units obtain +2 armor

Can use melee attack from the second position

Mana value: 19

I was impressed but the basic statistic of Graybrow the first time I saw the warrior on the market of cards in splinterlands.

My first interest went straight to the abilities when Oridum reaches the highest level of experience.

What is the main attraction to boost this card to the level?

Resurgence, Spite and magic reflect without forgetting reach were the main tool I needed to create a solid lineup with Graybrow at the head or second position of the team.


A. Limitation on the mana

My search for previous battle where Oridum created a good situation to learn from team strategy was successful.

I found many battles where the Splinter did not hesitate to put a specialized melee fighter in the front row against magic opponent in the situation where magic dominate the arena.

The mana restriction to lower 20 causes the fighter to be up to the game. Therefore the armor and no healing parameters from the ruleset made it a serious exchange of strikes.

Graybrow played a major defensive actions in the front line.

Eternal warrior is so powerful with his healing ability that all the gameplan would suggest his team victorious at the end of this combat.

The ruleset prohibits the healing of any cards on the battlefieldd so Eternal could not refill the life point of his ally in the arena.

Also, there were no magic warriors in the area defend by Eternal. Archer in the Light team was not going to all perform well in front of the line.

Fire and earh combination of cards presented the lineup of magic melee and archer warriors under the command of Abraxas.

B. Abraxas Command

The fire team summoner had no special ability to give to his ally. The only positive addition in this part of the arena was the association of warriors from two elements.
Graybrow of course, is going to stay in first postion as a tanker. The cost to add Oridum to this line is 7, so there is only 12 mana left.

The selection of magic and arch was clever.

Graybrow in this combat is playing with the most powerful abilities in the game. Magic attacks and defense can not stop Oridum in the first row.

C. Resurgence and Spite

In final interpretation the investment in Oridum is the best possible move if you want to bring your Fire team to the highest level of combat in Champion or Diamond.

It is not always about the purchase of the entire line up of maxedout cards. It is possible the boost your previous strategy with just one new warriors with the right abilities.

Combat performance of Oridum is exciting for all fire warriors fan in splinterlands. Let us buy more cards with similar performance.
