Splinterlands Social Media Challenge: Arcana Scavenger in Action: Battle of Abilities
Greetings,
What a rainy day here in the city!
I am not feeling bored since I can access to my Splinterlands account and intensively play the ranking game with the newly released Arcana Conclave
This edition of Social media challenge, I would love to describe one of the powerful cards in the game while in action during a combat.
Strategy is the key in the battle. Let see what happen on both side of the board.

Rulesets
Four units only accepted in the arena
All units have corrosive ward
Little league
Mana value: 25
The arena opened its doors to the warriors selected from each team. Entrance on the battlefield was restricted under specific rules that all players paid attention to avoid any backfire or exploit useful to the enemy.
A. Crowed on both sides of the board
My team preferred team of warriors was on the side of the Zeddica the water units. Magic fighters were right in the rank to cause heavy damage to the opposition.
What can the second team build to destroy the enemy?

It was dangerous to imagine the association of defense barrier against magic attacks. Void and reflection of magic attacks could be seen on the first position of the Bladestone line.
The association of abilities on the opposite team was going to show how effective the Zeddica offensive immobilized the enemy defense.
I did underestimate the selection under Bladstone. I have rarely seen a group of abilities so well associate in a combat of limited mana. In the arena you can see the Inspire ability adding one melee attack to Stalker. This difference changed everything on the battlefield after the second round.

B. Nice combination of abilities
Zeddica had a powerful set of water warriors in the arena. I knew that the magic attacks from this selection will destroy the enemy with great ease. However, the adversary did not rush to build his team.
Bladestone gave armor defense against magic attacks to friendly units. It was not over the Cannoneer abilities boosted the Stalker attack parameters creating a terrific weapon that double strikes the enemy due to "Execute".

C. Did the strategies work well with Filthy Scavenger?
The water team battle plan was cool, but not tailored to the defensive measure in place buy the opposition. The addition of void to all enemy warriors created a large gap in destruction that Zeddica could not recover from. The first cards in Zeddica line was great tanker as he collected life point of the dead cards on the battlefield. It was not enough to survive Stalker and Execute ability activated while Cannoneer was boosting his melee attacks.
