Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Diviner & Trooper - Power Play

Greetings,

How are you doing great warriors on the Pretorian Land?

Your exploration has reached a point where challenges arise from all sides. It is not the moment to lower your guard or accept the defeat due to overwhelming oppositions.

This Power Play challenge will present interesting combination to protect your team in the future.

Ready lets go...

A /. My selection for the combo

When I first came in contact with the challenge details, I knew instantly what I was going to talk about.

You must know at this point that I like very much the power of magic attacks. The hit in direction of opponent life points is the ultimate tools to secure victory. However, the ruleset misunderstanding can inverse the situation in the arena.

Considering the respect of the rulesets and the submission in time of a complete selection, here is for your entertainment, Trooper and Diviner in action.

I have a series of three battles where you will see the powerful energy distribution of both cards in the arena.

In the first battle, I will share with more details what is happening on the battlefield.

The game ruleset consists of the loss of all abilities except the one brought by the summoners. Also, the arena offered Amplify and cause earthquake each round.

B /. In the arena

The game seemed to be controlled by the team commanded by Lorkus because his addition of one magic attacks to his ally.

The warriors on the arena had nothing to be protected from earthquake so it was a race to destroy the first the enemy before the earth shaking put an end to the combat.

I loved the simplicity of the Akane combination on the battlefield, the maximum push on the magic attack came from this side because of Rage intervention in association to Diviner and Trooper.

Trooper

In the team of Lorkus all warriors were equipped to cause maximum damage to the adversary. Contrary to your observation, something else happened in the arena.

Battle1

The cumulation of magic point reached 16 each round delivered to the Lorkus team. The other side could not do better, so Akane won the game

C /. Scenes showing the power of Trooper and Diviner

In this second battle you can see that the combo Trooper and Diviner although powerful is not invincible.

If you come into the arena with a summoner who can reduce your magic points and also anticipate a valid defense anti-magic it may become difficult to exploit the full potential of this two water elemental warriors.

Battle2

It was a tense battle where death team had good cards in the game but the water offensive operation failed at the last moment at same time the victory return to warriors in the darkest colors.

Battle3

In this last battle, you will not miss the power of these two monsters in the arena. It was this battle in particular that pushed me to level up Diviners to the max in combination with Trooper.

It is almost impossible to stop the duo when the ruleset play in their favor.

D /. Add this boost to your lineup

I found that many players have underestimated the role of these two cards in the arena. The consumption of mana is very low compared to the effective offensive actions in battle.

The prices to level up both cards is not terrible. The only problem is the availability of the cards on the market if you wait too long.

I strongly suggest the lower league players to opt for this combination that can serve you well up until you secure your position in Diamond I.
The Champion League is more complex for this simple strategy to not be invalid.

E /. Final thoughts

When I select the water team for a battle, I often select the magic warriors first before looking for the melee warriors.

If the ruleset doesn't favor the positioning of a magic striking fighter, I prefer not to summon water elemental commanders.

In recapitulation, I support 100% this combo Trooper and Diviner in a combat of high intensity. Brawl and Tournaments are perfect place to test this duo and surprise your opponent then secure the victory.
