But what exactly is Aura?

• Is it Oil?
• Liquid?
• Gas - well, maybe sorta gaseous?
• Uhh, maybe a steaming rock-like... thing?

This is all we get from the Tool Tips:

"Aura is a volatile magical substance that can be refined to produce Midnight Potions.
Researchers wonder if other uses may be discovered for it in the future."

Or this, from the description of an Aura Lab:

"These labs, which require a permit from the League of Verico to operate, are used to produce a magical substance called Aura. The dangers of working with Aura are great due to its unstable nature and habit of exploding in the faces of handlers. But the rewards are worth it, as Aura can be further refined to produce highly sought after Midnight Potions."

So what else do we know about Aura?

Well, apparently

• we can somehow distill 40 units (nuggets? drops? gallons?) of pure aura into potions;
• Or by combining lots of it, somehow, with boring regular materials, we can make magical wagons;
• and apparently it can be used to grease our DEC and Vouchers to make some weird alt-currency?

Please - can anyone explain why our official raffle market doesn't want clean money - it only wants greasy tickets stained with Aura? What exactly is the auctioneer doing with this aura soaked currency and vouchers?

Aura's sudden rise to prominence seems like it might be the REAL "Secret of Praetoria"

Honestly, I really think we need a lot more "Aura lore" to explain this mysterious substance that seems to be showing up everywhere lately.

So I'm calling you @nateaguila that we need MOAR AURA LORE

I better go. I've been staring at this article so long that I'm starting to think that Aura is not a substance.
