Great work! I had the opportunity to buy a Black Lotus for $400 BACK IN 1998. Didn't have the money for it. And even if I did probably wouldn't have Diamon Handed it until now.
Splinterlands has a real opportunity. If the DEV's only have 1 year of funds, then it's on the community to continue to invest in the game if they truly believe this games full potential. Yes we have had mistakes made int terms of DAO votes and even DEV mistakes, but these are growing pains and we all must learn from these mistakes when they occur but not give up. These things can be ammended in time.

This project belongs to us as much as the SPL DEV's and it's a symbiotic relationship where we all have a role to play right down to the small time players. There is not a single person in Splinterlands who doesn't want to see this game reach new heights. But we all must weather the storm when things go against us in the market or a vote we dont like passes. Instead of just giving up, we need to rally and support the team and each other. Things will turn around if we all have faith and a little patience.

Problem is many want Rome to be built in a day. But if people leave this game now, you'll only be like me when I refused to buy 100 bitcoin in Jan 2011 for $1 off a mate who was mining it. Watched Bitcoin from the sidelines for 10 years before I got involved...By then I missed my chance on the Golden of Golden opportunities. Right now is the Jan 2011 or Nov 2011 chance to be in this game while prices are at their cheapest and market at it's lowest point. I've doubled down and I've DCA'd because I know if SPL survives the harshest of market environments, it will be because people like us who had faith in the project and DEV's despite any grievences that this game will go places and go BIG and when it does you dont want to be like me who not only knew about Bitcoin in 2011 but had easy access to purchase from a roomate and say No way this coin is not going anywhere I'll keep my money for something else.

I can't disagree with all you just said. Just to conclude don't be the person chasing goods when the prices are soaring, but be the person holding when prices are soaring. Only way to do that is to buy now and hold on for dear life !LOL !WINE
