My Second Battle and Waves Defeated in Soulkeep
I finally managed to pass the first level of Soulkeep, which was honestly a really tough challenge, especially with waves attacking one after the other without mercy. The game is highly suspenseful, and every decision you make when choosing towers has a significant impact. After completing the first level, I was excited to move on to the next but of course nothing in this game is easy.
In the second level, I started the first wave feeling a bit confident, and decided to start with just two towers: Charnel Pit and Gloom Owl. Honestly, the choice wasn't very successful. These towers can be useful at certain times, but in the first wave, I felt like I was rushing things. The enemies came in forcefully, and I lost a lot of hearts quickly, and I started to worry from the start.
At the start of the second wave, I decided I needed to change my strategy and bolster my defense a bit, so I decided to add a new tower: Card Sharp. This is when things started to improve a little. This tower was very strong and could repel many attacks, and it really helped me preserve my remaining hearts. I felt its presence made a difference in this round, especially since it strikes quickly and with great efficiency.
I made it through the third wave with flying colors, and I thought I could continue. But when I entered the fourth wave, I was in for a shock! I only had one heart left, which meant any mistake would cost me the entire level. Unfortunately, a few Fiends managed to sneak past the towers and made it through relatively easily, causing me to lose the entire round. This moment was honestly frustrating, but it also taught me a lot about the importance of balance in choosing towers from the start.
The game is truly challenging, and it teaches you how to plan well from the beginning and think through every choice. Now I intend to try again, but with a stronger plan and a new tower in mind that could tip the scales. Soulkeep isn't just a game, it's a true battle of wisdom.
