My First Battle and Victory in Soulkeep

After playing my first Battle in Splinterlands and starting to understand the game there and I decided to give myself a chance and try another play2earn game and this one was Soulkeep.

I decided to try my first Battle and I did. From the first step, I felt like I was entering a different defensive game, but one that was easy and fluid to navigate. At first, things were going very well, until I reached the fourth wave, and here the serious battle began... The monsters were coming in quickly, and I actually lost more than 8 hearts, and I felt like I was about to lose the round.

However, the strategy I followed saved the day. I used three Gloom Owl towers, which were truly heroes in that round. One was at the beginning of the path, another in the middle, and a third by the gate. They stopped attacks one by one and killed so many fiends and in turn I have got more mana to upgrade them.

After the round ended and I won, the beautiful sentence appeared:
"You saved the gate and collected Fiends Soul."

At that moment, I felt truly accomplished. That sentence alone made me feel like I'd accomplished something big, even though it was only the first level and I knew what is coming will be hard and fiends that I have killed will come again to revenge.

The game has a unique feel especially if you like defense and card games. There's planning, good tower distribution and every decision impacts the outcome. I'm now excited to complete the levels and see what challenges lie ahead and which fiends will be stronger in the next levels.

If you're a fan of Splinterlands or games with a good challenge, try Soulkeep, and you'll feel the difference.
