Hive is awesome, here is why!
Hey everyone! A little late maybe, I was too busy with other things but better late than never, while I was scrolling trough my timeline on X, formerly known as Twitter (Twitter sounded better, don't you think?) I came across a post from @theycallmedan with a link to the hive post:
Hive has made a really, really nice pump lately and got quite some attention is the crypto world, when we look at the chart, the hive price has found it's bottom just below 17 cents and kept touching that level until it woke up at November 6, and then just in 60 days it pumped 300%! 😍
There's a little retracement now but nothing to worry about, revisiting the $1 mark is just a matter of time I think, the previous All Time High's blow-off top was also in November, three years earlier, in 2021 hitting $3.40 so plenty of room to grow!
I came across Hive like many of us trough the Web3 game Splinterlands, tried to make a couple of posts but it turned out starting wasn't that easy so I kinda just concentrated on Splinterlands only, but since it's connected closely with Hive, I started making gaming blog posts and learning how to make posts and thumbnails and it wasn't until I was listening to a podcast where @azircon was explaining a lot about Hive and the etiquette which sparked my interest again, and, with his tips it started to get better, thanks for that AZ!
Why Hive is Awesome
Okay, enough talk, this was just a bit of history and I just like talking in posts like these I guess 😅
Many normal people outside of crypto spend a lot of time on socials like Facebook, I never liked socials a lot but it's so much different within the Hive community because these are people from all over the world, telling stuff about literally anything about their daily lives, their hobbies or you name it!
I think it's really interesting to read about how people on the other side of the world live their lives, and read their interesting posts and sometimes learn a thing or two from it.
And you know what's the cool part? People can earn crypto with their posts and even with upvoting other peoples posts!
So just as with Facebook or other socials you have a feed, or timeline if you like where you can filter between what you see, for example what the people you are following (friends) are posting or just browse trough the most popular posts or maybe posts that just have been made.
Just before dinner, like two hours ago I was reading trough other peoples posts when I came across this post from @mdosev that really touched me, in this post he is telling about his wife who was in a car crash and he was fearing for her life and now is dealing with a long recovery time for her leg with a lot of medical costs, I really feel for him and his kids, good to see his posts is getting a lot of upvotes!
So, the event was telling us to make a top 3, here it comes!
1: No Gas Fees!
Most blockchains require a small (or big) amount of money to be spent for every transaction, the cool thing about Hive is, we have no gas fees whatsoever! This is really great to run games on, for example: I'm a Splinterlands player, every card I buy or sell or every battle I play is free, this for me is the most awesome feature.
2: Making and reading posts and earn with it
This is really awesome and I really don't understand why this blockchain isn't more popular with like multi millions of users, why are they still on facebook and comparables!!?? You can make posts about anything, it's really like azircon said, people from the other side of the world love seeing how your life is, even if it's just about shopping for groceries!
Also, making posts like these is good to learn English if this isn't your native language, don't be shy and just try or you could also just let Chat GPT translate the post for you, but I like to train my brain! 😁
3: Growing your account and get passive, or active income
Since I listened to AZ's interview I started to be a better Hive Community member, diversifying my posts from not only splinterlands related posts to just about anything, I made posts about growing vegetables in my garden, making soup, doing walks, even about when I try new products like a soda machine.
Since then I saved over 1200 Hive Power and started engaging with other member's posts a lot more.
With this Hive Power, you can upvote other posts (50% goes to the author, 50% goes to the curator - that's you - the upvoter).
I still have a long way to grow to get meaningful upvotes, so for now I'm delegating most of my Hive Power to inleo.io to get a nice passive income every month!
Like what you see!? Please consider using my referral link to get started on hive, and just let me know you're here and come and say hi!
I wasn't sure in what community I should post this kind of post in, hopefully is choose a right(ish) one!
Well, that's another post to diversify my account, thanks for reading and have an awesome day!
Same here I love hive some much
It's time the rest of the world discovers this!
Thanks for stopping by
