Exploring the $SPS rental system.

One of the big ideas from the splinterlands team is to tie your earnings and your account progress to your SPS balance. It works in theory and puts more rewards in the hands of the people most invested in the game where they are trying to keep the value and stop it leaking out of the eco-system.

With the need for SPS and the price for large quantities too much for a lot of players that brings demand for rentals. I have a medium stack of SPS so can afford to rent out some for a little profit.

I don't rent out my full stack as i still want to my glint rewards as well but since land and card rentals aren't earning much for me the extra few dollars help every week.

180,000 SPS at 10.82% is worth $5 a week. Small but it all counts.
Plus the SPS balance still earns it's 13.5% interest from staking at the same time so it adds up.

How to rent out $SPS.

• Head to peakmonsters.com.
• Click on the rental page.
• Switch from Card rentals to Token rentals.
• All open bids.
• Check the appropriate bids and fill.
• **Remember to cancel after 7 days. It doesn't end automatically. **

You can also do it through the splinterlands site in the same way.

• Market.
• SPS delegation.
• SPS markets.

But personally i prefer the peakmonsters page as it's cleaner and easier. There is no real difference though.

There are pros and cons to SPS rental but it's just one more form of passive income from the game. If only i had 10M SPS and could make a bigger return it would be great. Until then i can keep adding to my balance from my land and use that to keep increasing my delegations.
