# First of the New Year - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 63 Report Card
@newageinv
The first Season of the year which was also my first full Season using the bot again has provided some more details on my decision to shift again. I did expect to see my earnings on SPS a bit lower but I could not have anticipated the great amount of Glint I am getting. Unfortunately, I am running out of uses for the Glint as my Soulbound collection approaches completion. However, the time I now have to focus on other things both in and out of Splinterlands is pretty valuable to me.
Match Report
Performance
| Stat | #wild |
|---|---|
| Champion Rank | 52 |
| Rating | 4900 - Champion I |
| Rating High | 4980 |
| Ratio (Win/Loss) | 1.19 (246/207) |
| Longest Streak | 8 |
The bot is definitely better at getting some great performance although it does seem to lag at the end of the Season. However, I acknowledge that only having Modern cards could be what is not making the deck as competitive than in the past. I am ok with that for now as I still get close to the Top 50 although it was not in the cards this Season which makes me miss that great DEC.

Great amount of Glint which has gotten me very close to completing a maxed set. Now it is truly down to luck of the draw. I may be using some glint for some chest so I can roll the dice a bit.

Not impressive but it is Soulkeep so expectations are very low.

SPS a little lighter but still respectable considering the amount of time and value I am gaining elsewhere in my life. Land will make up the difference as I continue to evolve my approach.
Starting the year in a good position given the decision to Automate my account. I do miss playing a bit and also have seen that my Heloise has not really been picked up by the bot yet but I am considering going back to some tournaments just to play a bit myself every once in a while. In the meantime, the focus remains on evolving and allocated more resources to my land. Hoping for more news on that front soon!

Hey mate! I understand the reason to automate the account, but as you have said, I would miss playing the game😰. For me, Splinterlands is the 3Fs: Fun, Finances and Friends. I would miss the first F, if I would automate.
But as I said, I understand you. Thanks for the post and see you on the Battlefield🤠!
I spend almost all of my available battling time playing tournaments instead of ranked for a few reasons.
the formats and leagues are always changing, so the game play is always different as well. I like the variety of trying new combinations and strategies outside of Modern Diamond.
the SPS prizes are much than ranked rewards. What can I say... I like growing my bags of SPS as much as possible.
the rivalries motivate me. In the tournament scene, there are several different accounts I play day after day, so Ive developed a bit of a rivalry against some of the other top accounts in the game.
Yes, I remember this is an inspiration from you! I think I will start on tournaments when I get back from some time off!
