Managing the Bounty of Splinterlands Soulbound Reward Cards

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experiences with the accumulation of Soulbound Reward cards in Splinterlands and the challenges it presents as we anticipate upcoming changes to the reward system. Since the months of launching the Soulbound reward card concept, the amount of them in my Collection have continue to pile up.

Over the past few seasons, I've found myself with an ever-growing surplus of Soulbound Reward cards, some of which are now maxed out with multiple copies. It's an impressive feat to have two maxed Gold Foil Legendaries of the same card, but it also raises concerns about the future distribution of rewards.

My primary focus in ranked play has been to complete a fully maxed set of these Soubound cards for my competitive deck. However, despite my dedication, I find myself still missing a single BCX of one legendary card. This missing piece has become a source of frustration as I fear the impending changes to the reward system may complicate my quest even further.

With the upcoming changes, there's uncertainty surrounding how rewards will be distributed and whether obtaining specific cards will become more challenging. The prospect of using points at the new Reward Shop to target missing cards is daunting, especially considering the potential competition for scarce resources.

One possible solution I'm considering is to wait and see if the missing card becomes available for purchase once the reward system changes take effect. While this may provide a quicker resolution, it also means that my excess Soulbound Reward cards will continue to accumulate, potentially overcrowding my inventory.

Another option is to utilize my land, Althainia, as a storage solution for these excess cards. By unlocking the cards in the future, I can give a home to all the extra cards while also contributing to the development of my land. As I navigate these challenges, I'm reminded of the dynamic nature of the Splinterlands ecosystem and the importance of adaptability. While uncertainties may arise, I remain optimistic that with careful planning and strategic decision-making, I can overcome any obstacles that come my way.
