Halfway Through the Latest Soulbound Card Set: My Progress and Plans in Splinterlands

Currently, I'm focused on completing the latest Reward edition Soulbound card set in Splinterlands. It’s been a steady grind, and I’ve made it about halfway through the set so far. My strategy has been simple and consistent: I’ve deployed over a million Glint each season into chests and draws, which has helped me gather a solid pool of these reward cards without overly worrying about targeting specific meta cards. Instead, I’ve just been combining each card as it comes, keeping the process straightforward.

Looking at my progress, I’d estimate it will take another two or three seasons before I can see max cards for some of the set. At that point, I’ll likely start being more careful with my Glint usage—not because of a balance issue, but to keep some reserves for potential future moves in the game. I haven’t really focused on unbinding and selling these cards, despite the opportunity to generate some margin from their sale. For now, I’m content to keep building my collection without diving into the speculation aspect, though it may just be my current lack of focus on that area.

The idea of finishing this set feels like a good milestone, and with it, I’m also considering taking a short break from ranked play. While I still appreciate the game, my enjoyment of ranked has gradually declined, and a breather might be just what I need to return refreshed later. For now, though, I’m keeping my eye on that finish line, hoping that completing the Soulbound set will bring a satisfying sense of achievement to this season of Splinterlands.
