Full Circle: Completing My Maxed Conclave Arcana Set

After weeks of grinding, strategizing, and carefully navigating the market, I can finally say it—my Conclave Arcana edition is fully maxed out! It’s a milestone that represents patience, planning, and a fair share of trial and error along the way.

From Mixed Pulls to Focused Strategy

Like many players, I started my Conclave Arcana journey with excitement and optimism when I began opening my packs. My pulls were a mixed bag—some strong hits, but not nearly enough to get close to completion. That’s when I realized I needed a more focused approach.

I shifted gears by targeting scarcer cards first, since they not only carry greater long-term value but also provide stronger metrics for Conflict AirDrops. My early focus on Epics and Archons paid off; those were the heavy hitters of the edition and the toughest to acquire. Once I had them maxed, it gave me momentum to tackle the rest.

The Grind for Commons and Rares

The next challenge was far less glamorous—Commons and Rares. These take a staggering number of cards to combine, and though they’re plentiful, tracking down enough copies (at the right price) can feel endless.

I experimented with Starter Packs for a while, since they offered solid value and a chance to chip away at multiple cards at once. But after maxing out my Archons, it became clear that setting up bids on the market was the more efficient route.

I funded my account with DEC and Credits, placing staggered bids to catch deals as the market fluctuated. Every few days, I’d adjust them based on activity—sometimes going in manually when I spotted bulk BCX listings at a discount. The process was slow but satisfying, and it gave me a much deeper understanding of how demand and meta trends influence card prices in real time.

Lessons from the Market and the Meta

It’s fascinating to see how meta-relevant cards command higher prices. Even within the same rarity tier, you can clearly see which abilities and synergies are shaping the current competitive landscape. Now that I have a fully maxed set, I’m eager to start experimenting with these cards firsthand—testing different builds, finding new synergies, and seeing how they perform across various rulesets.

Completing a maxed Conclave Arcana set has been one of my favorite Splinterlands achievements to date. It’s a testament to persistence and to how far the game’s economy and strategy layers have evolved.

The next step? Putting these cards to work on the battlefield. With the full set finally at my disposal, it’s time to see what kind of creative team builds and tactics can emerge.
