Conclave Arcana Conflicts: Zarin the Scorch AirDrop

The Splinterlands team continues to generate value by distributing new and valuable cards to existing players via AirDrops. They have continued the mechanics to distribute them using the Conflict system. The Mage Wagons remained required but this time around they must be repair once cards drop from them which seems fair given the continued entanglement of the economy around the ecosystem. The way they continue to mix the process with the lore has been great so looking forward on how it evolves over the Conclave Arcana edition.

The new Legendary AirDrop card, Zarin the Scorch is a monster from the Dragon Splinter. It brings a good mix of defense and offense to the Conclave Arcana deck as it brings blast together with magic which could be powerful. It also provides some great support with key abilities to make your team more nimble all while being camouflaged to enemies on the battlefield. The high mana cost should not be a surprise considering the sheer amount of stats the card holds.

My completed regular foil deck should have gotten me enough for a maxed version guaranteed. I continued to use some of my Gold Foils to also stake instead of renting them in order to get to a maxed copy. I had an amazing amount of luck as I got a couple of BCX but enough for a maxed Gold Foil version! I also immediately stake it into the wagons to help for the next Conflict which started immediately. The future AirDrops will likely require me to go and buy some BCX as it gets harder to guarantee the drops. Therefore, it will be interesting to see how their value is perceived in the market given the inherent expected scarcity of Conclave Arcana in general.

The Conclave Arcana AirDrops have now started so exciting for the community. It may be a while to see the next one but incredible to see the value being built for all the players in the ecosystem. My Collection has continued to bloom despite the markets in the past months. I cannot avoid getting deeper into this and while I am already well past my budget of packs, I am sure there will continue to be reasons to add to the wagons for the chance for more AirDrops even as they slow.
