Coastal Sentry (Video Timelapse)

I’m sharing the time lapse of the drawing process for the Splinterlands character Coastal Sentry. The entire process was recorded using the time-lapse feature in Ibis Paint. This piece began with a traditional sketch and inking base, followed by digital coloring, lighting, shading, and some texture work in Ibis Paint. Drawing traditionally and coloring digitally offers many advantages—greater fluidity for line art and simpler coloring, though of course it depends on the complexity of the piece. Thank you for joining me for another day of drawing.
