Hello splinterland players:

Actually, Thorns ability is good to use in matchups with low mana.
In matches with little mana, you can't use a lot of cards.
So you need to use few cards and effective cards.
The most suitable is to be able to use cards with thorns ability.
Cards with the Thorns ability deal damage back to the attacker when hit by a melee attack.
In every battle, melee-attack monsters are usually attacked in the easternmost position.
That's why the card with Thorns ability should be placed in the easternmost position.

Today I'd like to share a matchup I played with card with the Thorns ability in a matchup where I got very little mana.

• It was attacked using the QUIX THE DEVIOUS summoner from the Dragon Element.

• Possion (1) MYCELIC MORPHOID
  Possion (2) DJINN CHWALA were used in order.

Summary of the battle

The battle rule of this match is STANDARD and the mana given is 13.
In this match, I used the MYCELIC MORPHOID monster from the front position.
The blood in MYCELIC MORPHOID is very low.
However, due to the thorns ability with MYCELIC MORPHOID, although he died in round 1, he was able to counter and attack the enemy monster.
Another enemy monster attacked DJINN CHWALA, but he died himself.
It was able to counter and attack because of the thorns ability.
In the next round, the DJINN CHWALA monster was able to counter attack the enemy melee-attack monsters, and by round 4, the match ended and won.

In such matches, if you can only use MYLOR CROWLING summoner, who can give thorns ability to all your monsters, it will be easy to win without difficulty.
