Joined Soulkeep and Ready to Defend The Gate
Soulkeep has become one of the most popular games on the Hive network, which isn't surprising, especially since it comes from the same team that created Splinterlands, one of the most successful blockchain games. Having been interested in Play2Earn games for a long time I wanted to give it a try and see if it was worth the time and investment.
The basic idea of the game is that you protect a gate from an attack by creatures called Fiends and these are monsters with various shapes and abilities and you must stop them before they reach the gate. To do this, you have magic and defensive towers that you use strategically. Each wave of enemies is more difficult than the one before it which makes the game fun and requires thought and focus.
From what I've read, there are different types of Fiends, and each type has its own specific way of dealing with them. It's not just about placing towers and that's it. You need to plan and know when to use magic and which towers will be best for your situation. In addition, each battle is a new experience due to the randomness of the attacks and strategies you can use.
I'm very excited to start my first battle, and I want to see if the game is as fun as the reviews suggest, and if it will be a good addition to my Hive games. If it is, it could be a great experience and worth the time I spend on it.
What I liked about Soulkeep is that it's not just a regular tower defense game; it has a strong strategic element, especially when it comes to using magic alongside towers. This means you don't just build defenses and let them run; you also have to be careful about each wave of enemies, deciding whether to reinforce your towers or use a spell at the right moment. This adds great depth to the game and makes each battle unique.
Another thing I'm excited to try is the rewards system. Being a Play2Earn game on Hive means you're not just playing for fun, but you can also win. I don't yet know how economical the game is compared to other games like Splinterlands, but what I'm sure of is that I'm going to enjoy it first, and then I'll see if it's worth investing my time in or not.
